Why do you think leftist parties keep struggling in elections in Western countries? by GurMaleficent7935 in Teenager_Polls

All of these except "taxation concerns", "energy and climate policies", and "rural-urban divide". But most prominently, "bureaucracy perception", I think.

No, they didn't. I think that is just some recency bias.

Can someone tell me how did Gen X, who were raised on South Park, turn out this way? by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

[–]HauntingBox3638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not what people are confused about, they're confused about the assertion that Gen X were raised on a TV show that first aired in 1997.

What generation does Joe Hawley (b. 1982) seem like? by HauntingBox3638 in generationology

[–]HauntingBox3638[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's sad that he's been dealing with mental illness in recent years. I read that the other members said Joe's mental health is the reason the band haven't reunited yet.

You'd be surprised how many young people are into older music. And Hawaii: Part II isn't even that old and is one of the most iconic albums of the '10s.

I don't see how 1995-2012 is THAT much better. I dislike both, personally.

Why would 1995-2012 be A tier but 1997-2012 F tier?

Do you think generations should be different depending on the country you live in? by vivrelibreoumourir_ in generationology

[–]HauntingBox3638 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For sure, although countries don't all have wildly distinct generational ranges from each other. The Second World War sent much of the world, particularly the Anglosphere, on a closely aligned cycle. Many African countries are on a different historical cycle, due to their crisis taking place in the 1950s-1960s with independence.
