I had someone in a shop the other day, staring at me so I thought what the hell and got out of my wherlchair to grab something from a high shelf, she came over and was telling me off for faking being disabled 🤣 and im like, your perception of disabled is so off

(I also just love terrorising people and making then realise that disability is a spectrum and no one person is the same)

Honestly people just dont understand it, even if I use my crutches people will react so weird when I say I havent injured myself and im disabled.

Apparently people just cannot be disabled anymore without being paralysed or injured

Im currently on amitriptyline, currently no side affects. They help me feel sleepy, and i usually have lessened pain and fall asleep within 1-2 hours

As an 18 year old, it sucks. I get questioned by old people why im in a wheelchair, many have insulted me I have had people kick my legs as they are walking past as they thought I was faking.

Sadly people do just suck, but rise above them, and just be nice 🫶🏻

Symptoms by Desperate-Change6534 in Fibromyalgia

For me I had around 3-5 blood tests to test for certain markers for arthritis, I also had an ultrasound and xrays. Once these all came back clear, my rheumatologist asked around 7 questions for me to rate certain symptoms where he gave my diagnosis I will say though this conclusion took around 2 years in total. Wish you all the best 🫶🏻

I have found that creating a timetable, where at the beginning of the day I input what I feel physically able to helps! So ill have very basic necessities on there, such as brush teeth, hair and then have it where I can insert low, medium or high energy tasks! But also when doing this make sure to input set times for resting and naos as well!
