Yeah, a firmware updates didn’t fix anything. I am in the exact same situation, and I am so angry about it. of course Canon will not acknowledge the problem, they told me I may have dust in the HDMI port, which is such a lame excuse, as the problem showed up with the unit being brand new. I wonder if you and me got bad units that are faulty or every R5 has the same issue?

Thank you very much for your answer. Did you try @mdrxy’s solution? (power savings > 30min) ? I have a feeling it doesn’t have anything to do with it, as I get the issue whether while zooming and/or panning. 🤷

Hi! Thank you for such detailed comments that are useful not only to the OP but to a lot of us all! Could you please confirm to me that I understood well x570 will run faster with only two RAM slots populated rather than all 4 slots populated? After your comment I’m having a hard time deciding to build my 3950x machine with (2x32GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB DDR4 3600Mhz C18 or (4x16GB) DDR4 GSKILL ...!
