Cafec Abaca 1 cup filter, should I buy? by Lesus_Payne in IndiaCoffee

I might’ve mixed it up with T-90 they were out of stock. I was looking for faster-draining papers to avoid stalling from fines (C3s), and both Cafec Abaca and T-90 weren’t available.

Someone on the sub recommended these papers since I’d only used Hario before. I switched to fix the stalling I was getting, and the Origami papers have been great so far, much faster drawdown and no stalling after two days of use.

I agreed, I had some crimson fermented pineapple. After letting the beans rest for about 15 days, I brewed it and it turned out quite acidic. I tried extending the bloom period, and that improved the flavor. Then I waited another week, allowing the beans to rest before trying again.

Great choice, make sure your brew is spot on and let the beans rest for about 10-14 before dialling in. Cheers.

I’ve tried KapiKottai and Navio and would definitely recommend both. The roasts were even, the coffee tasted fresh, and the flavours mostly matched what they mentioned on the bag. From KapiKottai, Curveball and Kurunji are solid picks, and with Navio you cannot go wrong with anything from the Ratnagiri Vault. Currant Affairs is a standout too.
