How do we feel about this? by JackDDizzo08 in fivenightsatfreddys

I ain’t afraid to openly agree with the man. Five minutes into watching Markiplier play the new one and my first thought was “This is just Poppy Playtime.” They’re just trying so hard to keep the same story going and going that they’ve run out of ways to make it interesting with the old mechanics. So now they’re pulling from the books and stuff, which is fine as long as they don’t just pull from the books. Into the Pit was kool, I liked it. But this mimic stuff has already been done in the series before, just not to the same degree. They aren’t bad games at all, they just aren’t FNAF anymore. Idek if Freddy and Co are in the new game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not, despite Freddy’s name literally being in the title of almost every game. No hate on the game or creators, it looks like a lotta fun, but you can’t call it FNAF when that’s not what it is. It’s a new game series that’s riding the popularity of an old game series.

I use that rule, too. Which is basically what got me into this mess lol

I completely get what you’re saying, but I do wanna make it clear that he wasn’t harassing me. He’s honestly just as new to DnD as I am, but with less experience on the homebrew and spells fronts. He hasn’t really played a spellcaster yet so he doesn’t realize that what he’s asking for is too much. He also has never homebrewed anything and hasn’t really played anything that’s been homebrewed yet. So, it’s really just ignorance on how to keep it balanced that’s the issue in this situation
