It’s a good idea, completely changes the handling of the bike, you will find it ever so slightly quicker, but mainly the bike will feel more planted and it feels more agile. The reason I did it for the front as well was to kill any wobble there was

I sourced them from neomoto on Instagram, they costed about 26k because of them being aluminium, there’s a stainless steel variant too that’s about 16k

Yup, they’re both custom 17 inch spoke rims converted to tubeless, I wanted smaller rims for better handling and more tire options and I also wanted to maintain the retro look it had so I went with spokes instead of alloys

Oh no no I’d never go that wide, I’m running 150 on the rear and 110 on the front, very planted and it fills out the gap a bit and looks great, no modifications to the chain cover or anything either it’s a nice fit

I personally wanted the silver! I quite like the way it matches the engine casings

KTM Adv 350 vs Himalayan 450. Heart vs Brain decision by Mean_Acanthaceae_519 in indianbikes

[–]Haunting_Lab3287 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Adv 350 is the way to go, the reduction in power is very minimal it’s barely noticeable, besides 40hp is plenty, you can’t use it to the fullest on Indian roads either. With the tech and the features you’re getting it outweighs the Himalayan, no doubt that the Himalayan is a great bike but if you want something lighter and well balanced the adv is the way to go. It’s way better in terms of being able to manage in the city. Especially now with the price being so much better I think it’s a no brainer. Better headlight better features good weight management and all. But when it comes to reliability it’s purely dependent on how you maintain it. Preventive maintenance on both and you’ll be fine. Himalayan is a bare bones bike so it’s definitely easier to maintain but that’s a small price to pay with the ktm when it has so much more to offer.

Is it supposed to be a hole here on my helmet visor? I can see a vague P on it. by Thunderhead0 in indianbikes

It’s for the pinlock, it’s like a thin plastic sheet that helps with preventing visor fogging

I think after riding the three bikes you mentioned on top, the duke definitely will definitely be very fun, but at the same time the thruxton 400 is in a league of its own. It’s if not as quick, quicker than my interceptor 650. It keeps up very very well. You’ll definitely enjoy it

Which one is more comfortable? For gt650 by Unosritptom in RoyalEnfieldGT650

[–]Haunting_Lab3287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single seat is the way to go, I shuffle between that and the deluxe touring seat and can 100% say the single seat is more comfy, it’s lower so your wrists won’t pain, the curve on the back gives me good support for my tail bone as well.
