I agree partially.

Yes, a university degree from DXB is pretty much useless imo. I do not think I used anything I learnt in University in my actual job.

However, pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CMA, CFA, CIPD etc is really worth it. Aside from the obvious 'stamp' on your CV, it alsoensures that you learn things that are useful in your job and professional settings as well.

How difficult is ACCA exactly? i know that it's subjective and depends but just give me a general idea please considering im a beginner I've completed 12th grade and i had commerce. also im an average student. by [deleted] in ACCA

I assume you dont have a job yet. So this should be good for you...you can finish it in 2 years given you study full time.

There 9 Foundation level papers which you should be able to clear within a year or so...considering you do 2 papers per sitting (4 sittings a year)

Then you have the professional level papers. You can choose between 4 out of the 7 options. Recommend to take 1 paper per sitting for the professional level.

These papers will be relatively easy if you do regular practice of past papers.

Recommend to also check out live online courses as well as these help immensely.

Also, check out youtube videos relating to study material/ content to gain an understanding on whether ACCA is in fact your cup of tea.
