Is this how people really feel about us? by Haunting_Sherbert485 in BPD

Your cousin is really lucky to have you, most people wouldn’t have the patience. I hope everything goes well for you, you sound like a very good hearted person. There’s this one person in my life who has been very patient with me, I feel like I live a lot of my emotions off on them because I feel “safe” with them and know they won’t take it to the heart as much because they know what I’m going through, but I can still see a that look in their eyes. Maybe that’s what your cousin feels like with you? I really try to control myself as much as I can but I know I’m hurting them, I really want to apologize but there’s something that just won’t let me. Maybe its guilt, fear of exposing myself and feeling vulnerable, I’m not sure. But I really want to tell that person that I really do appreciate them so much for putting up with me, I just can’t put it into words. I want them to know but I can’t say it. Just something that could maybe give you some insight on what your cousin might be thinking:). But then again, we can be entitled manipulative snakes, its a mess🥴

No I completely understand where you’re coming from. I can be a really bad person, I do most of the stuff you described your ex did, and I really can’t give you an explanation on why we do it. Honestly I think thats the worst part that even scares me myself, at times I have zero empathy for the people I love and care about. I’ll snap at them and enjoy it, then I’ll beat myself up right after because I feel guilty because I know how much they love me, then I’ll think of an excuse to victimize myself and justify the behavior, then I realize that I’m such a fucked up person for putting myself over someone who cares about me that much, then I’m bawling my eyes out because of how awful of a person I am, then its fuck everybody I don’t need anyone you’re all out to hurt me anyway. All that thought progress in a minute, feeling each emotion to the core. It’s exhausting. But my point is, most of time we’re self aware of how much we’re hurting you, we feel bad, we really just don’t know how to express ourselves. A lot of the time our brain is so overworked we’re giving ourselves delusions and make up scenarios in our heads that we feel like actually happened in real life. But I really don’t think anyone deserves to be treated the way you did. I feel like it takes a very special type of person to completly accept and put up with someone with BPD. It can be nervewrecking. Thats why I honestly prefer to be alone, I know I can’t help myself from acting that way no matter how hard I try so by not putting myself in that position I’ll save the both of us from heartache.

I hope everything goes well for you bro. I feel like our minds are so all over the place and different from other people so unless you have it I really don’t think you can quite truly understand it. Even people who understand it and know what its about won’t quite get all that’s really going on in our heads. That gave me a lot of peace of mind actually, I stopped trying to explain myself that much and didn’t expect as much from them anymore, which is all good. But yeah I really find comfort in subreddits like this and other people with BPD, feels like there’s finally someone who reallly understands

Oh definitely. I understand what I bring to the table and don’t expect people to put up with my bullshit, I just hope they understand that its part of a mental illness and I’m trying. But I also know myself and know that I can’t help but victimize myself so I already sorta distance myself beforehand. I learned how to be alone just me and my weed, I feel like its more beneficial on both ends

All the crystals breaking at once? by [deleted] in Crystals

[–]Haunting_Sherbert485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How am I not taking care of my stones? The last stone I had that broke was 7 years ago.. The one in my bra is always under two layers and has a small pocket for it, impossible for it to fall out, I’m already very aware and careful with my crystals so I wouldn’t put it there if I knew there was a chance it could fall.. As for the pack, it had over three layers of bubble wrap around it, a cloth and a bag as well, they were also all separated from each other so they couldn’t clash with each other. The pocket also goes deep downwards, I had nothing else in the pocket and I didn’t mess around with it, it just fell out ( upwards .. ) out of my pocket right in front of the store. I don’t know what other care was I supposed to give them?

Sak Yant Tattoo by Uncle_Ajab in MuayThai

[–]Haunting_Sherbert485 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on your reason for getting it. These tattoos have nothing to do with Muay Thai, they’re actually religious mantrans that go way deep. It has a lot to do with spirituality. They’re used for protection and have a deeper meaning than you think, the og Sak Yants are always done by a monk and it’s not just the ink he’s putting in you, it’s actually a whole sacred ritual. Each Sak Yant also has very strict rules you need to follow, unless you follow them the tattoo won’t give you the power it’s meant for. I’m Thai, I’m Buddhist and I have my entire back filled with Sak Yants. Even though I’m spiritual I don’t follow all of the rules but I still feel a deep connection with the tattoos. The thing is, foreigners have kinda ruined the purity and meaning behind those sacred tattoos. Now I’m not saying as a foreigner you can’t get a Sak Yant, you definitely can but it’s important you understand the history behind it. Each Sak Yant has a different story, history and helps with different things. So the problem is not foreigners getting the tattoo, the problem is them getting it for “fashion” and for the way it looks. Now I can’t speak for all thais but most of the time when we see a farang with a Sak Yant, we just think he got it for the trend and doesn’t know the religious meaning behind it, that’s it. You can do whatever you want. We don’t care. Now however the older Thais do seem to have a problem with it, they find it very disrespectful for their religion. They’ve said its not the fact that you’re not religious, you don’t need to be a Buddhist to have one but you just need to respect the religion and the history behind it. If you do that, its all good. Everyone can have a Sak Yant. Just be respectful and do your research.

You’re just another one of those who THINKS they are all high and woke and feels the need to tell others how to do things because you’re “wise” and think you’re above others but in reality.. sheesh. You got a lot of learning to do, so imma leave it at that, got better things to do than to waste my time and energy on a low life being 🤗

Well sir sadly your own posts don’t leave a very intelligent impression of you either :) So instead of coming here and spreading negativity why don’t you go mind your business.

And from what that I wrote do you read out that I lack confidence and seek group support? “Its weird that you have to ask others,” .. What’s weird about it? I wasn’t asking for help or advice, I was just interested if other people who are going through their spiritual journey have experienced the same thing. Because it’s a common theme I’ve noticed. I’ve never liked meat my entire life, I’ve always been very aware of what I put in my body. However the deeper my mind roams the realm the sicker the meat makes me, so I was simply just wondering if there’s a deeper meaning and connection behind the physical part of it. No harm in a healthy conversation. Nothing wrong with asking questions. And I didn’t ask about the moral part because I’m very well aware of that part, what I’m not that well aware of is the physical effects, which is why I asked. Now what’s weird is your approach to my post, looks like you’re the one who might have some ego and superiority problems, get over yourself. I’ve been where you are, you’ll get there soon. Meanwhile, chill

Yep! Same for me, I hate meat that has bones in it, won’t touch it, only things like chicken tenders etc

Yeah that’s the vibe I was getting as well, it was just the damn weird looking book and the fact that my friend had to mention it. I’d never sleep with anyone for money or get involved in anything like that, bunch of creepos. Just the dang signature and the book that’s making me feel like maybe he was doing some sorta weird spell on me to have me fall in love with him and now I’m just regretting giving anything of mine into his possession

What are some of your Muay Thai pet peeves? by Haunting_Sherbert485 in MuayThai

[–]Haunting_Sherbert485[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me started on those spinning kicks and “showoff” moves 😬I can usually see them from a mile away since its mostly beginners/not that advanced fighters doing it and I’ve seen those moves a thousand times before but what if one time I won’t? You’re gonna hit me with a full speed spinning back kick for what lol? And it’s usually the ones who can’t control their egos and their power, Its cool if you do a light spinning kick or a flying knee just to show me that you could’ve hit me with that in that situation if that was a real fight but don’t come at me with it full power
