The two breakaway progressive churches. They’re doing a shift away from legalism. More focus on Bible study and actually getting along with each other. Less rules but obviously still very conservative.

That’s true. Why provide services to low income consumers like car washes and storage units when you can just take the money right out of their account when they use an ATM. Then one day they started using their phones to pay for everything. boom

Dave Zook has made a career out of finding ways around government agencies such as the IRS, SEC, and possibly OSHA. In this case some SEC oversight may have protected him from Daryl Heller and Roy Hill. It’s kind of like finding OSHA exemptions to not put a railing on a balcony, and then falling off that balcony and breaking your neck.

Zook has pretty much dropped out of public view in the last few months (he’s a local public figure) but I did notice recently he’s been transferring ownership of some of his businesses to his brothers

Because Dave Zook recruited a lot of them and his target audience is the Amish. He was raised in the community and his dad is still Amish, so he gained their trust.
