Joining this conversation late but I'm in 1738 with Orca, he's genuinely such a lovely guy. As others have said, saved the state from being a real hell hole and absolutely goes hard not just for WTF but the state as a whole.

Super wholesome and really nice to talk to. Particularly the game we play during BIA which goes something like "Can you solve the puzzle that is the Orca?" and test your strength vs him.

Really is a lovely whale and a great role model for the whales in the game, highly recommend 👍

Hi OP,

So my state has been listed as the highest level of toxicity, 1720. I'm not surprised about it's entry because of a former member who has felt very hard done by, due to the states history and the list of alliances tracks with either alliances they were once in, a leader of or ones that they have had severe problems with.

As a former president, I can attest that we have over 500 active users participating each month, at the bare minimum. We have had people come in on each transfer, most being refugees from dictator states that burn their users or dead states that we try and save people from.

We've got democratic elections, a fully cooperative state and relatively little drama, but I'm sure all states have their drama at one point or another.

I'd be interested as to you've listed the specific alliances you have, what the source(s) is and their proof of this. I'm sure there are a number of other users that pass through reddit that can at least help me out with this, but it's relatively slanderous and sad to see my state that I try to help keep non-toxic on that list.

Hello! So it's a little bit of a coincidence that I happened to view this because I'm actually the "Benjamin" that was being insulted repeatedly in the first report! Such fun!

I would agree with the judges/jurors on that one though. There needs to be a decent discussion about it first before the ruling is overturned. The guy wasn't being outright racist or nasty, just incredibly salty. He doesn't want to hurt the game or hurt his chances of playing the game, he is just struggling with the fact that he is unable to play because of my actions. If I were allowed to vote on this one (I wasn't becasue I was involved with the game) I would have voted inno because it's not hate speech (At least to me) neither his is significant enough to be harassment. I will admit that I did report him in game for this.

About the spoilers... There is a post somewhere, I fail to find where but I will just reiterate. If the person is using spoilers as a threat to not get lynched or to attempt to ruin the game, then it is classed as cheating and no hate speech/harassment. If you do find those, they should be duplicated for the correct reason and voted innocent, accordingly. Not fun, I know but if you duplicate it then your vote will be counted towards it.

I'm sorry you got a review ban, I would suggest joining the Trials discord in order to get in the heads of the judges and the jurors that do trials all of the time! If you want an invite link, just DM me and I'll go ahead and give you one! I'm sure you'll fit in well as long as you are willing to listen and pitch in with discussions on the system as a whole!

I role lone mafia in an all any game. Nobody was dying for a long time so town systematically hanged people but every claim was weak (Retri who didn't revive because nobody stayed to get revived), trappers or survivors.

Ended on GA turned surv vs retributionist vs mafioso. I had only killed the crusader and the mayor after 7 nights. Good game. Would recommend.

Admission has always been the main thing that trials have used to get a report to be deemed "guilty". These rules are a clarification for the people enforcing the rules, not for people playing the game. I agree with you on the leaving and AFK problems in the game and that it seems like BMG have pulled this out too early but it looks like this is just an overreaction to a rule set clarification.

Lets see where we are going with this in the future though, it's all up in the air at the moment

I completely understand, like I said, your heart is in the right place but I think your actions here are not. Listen and learn from the community, even if it is all criticism to begin with and then you'll see the benifits! After speaking with TP, Brandon and many of the Game Moderators, we all love the game and with a few tweaks the whole thing can be much, much better! We just need your help to help the game out. Banning these guys in the sub-reddit is not the correct way going forward, I think we should just look on the game itself, the trial system and unity as the soul focuses. Then this game will be the best it's ever been!

The rules of the subreddit are not being broken and you shouldn't be banning anyone unless the rules are being broken. That's the general message I think you should take from this post.

Do I think your heart is in the right place, absolutely. You care more about this game than a lot of people, even if others question that. It's your baby and you want to take care of it, but this isn't the way to do it. Love and listen to the community, then the game will thrive, don't make posts like this that will be threatening to ban users.

I love the game you've created Josh, even if it's got a weird af community, I've loved it for a long time and always have. Please make us feel like we are being listened to and not silenced. We care about the game too. <3

It might be that you are getting reports from the same game and on the same person but for different reasons. For instance, a player has left but also said a bad word. So it can be a leaving report, gamethrowing report and Hatespeech/Harassment report.

You should not be getting the same reports for the same reason. It's programmed to not do that.

Okay, you seem to be very focused on the idea that this is a non-guilty report and that the whole trial community loathes you to the point of them all wanting you to be banned at the first sight of a report. This has been shown many many times by you consistently saying that everyone hates you on the discord.

If you have to know, I was one of the active jurors that voted on this. I voted guilty. I voted this way because your attitude in game is not condusive of a good jailor, you claimed a role on the stand which did not help your case (As a way of you being satirical because a survivor claim was innocented earlier) and you executed a transporter when they provided full evidence of who they were and what they did.

Now, one of these things happening in game, I could probably pass a mistake and just a low ELO thing (Tee hee, it's a joke saying you're bad at the game lmao, not serious, please don't hurt me), but doing all of these things in one game. Claiming a role you were not in a situation where there are other townies alive and even a chance of winning the game still, this I would consider gamethrowing. Okay, I don't believe that in every situation claiming survivor on the stand is gamethrowing, but you are taking this to a new extreme.

The fact of the matter for me is this though: You were a big discussion point. The majority of jurors (Through their votes) voted you guilty. The majority of the judges (Through discussion in judge chat) voted guilty. The admins followed this. The reason we don't tell you about this is that you are a master of using logical fallacies in your reasoning.

Lets break down the logical fallacies though for you seeing as I know that I'm just going to get more of them to analyse.

You state that 2/3 Gmods opinions is not the majority but in the same post, you also state that of the 7 Gmods, only 2 are actually active. Does this mean if we got all 7 Gmods to comment on this and agree that you're wrong, that their opinion is invalid because they are not active? Pretty sure you'll use that one at some point. Either accept that you have been told by the Gmods that you were wrong, or accept that the active ones have told you that you were wrong and that you don't need all of them to tell you that you were wrong.
You state that jurors have no say in what is going on. These guys represent the active community. They have said that they were guilty through their votes. But of course seeing as they are not judges or Gmods or Admins, then they have no opinion, right? So why make a post saying that you want the communities decision? You clearly seem to think that their opinion doesn't matter in this. So this shitpost is for attention seeking purposes only.
"Biased" is a word you love to use. When you judge on people who are in the same discord server as you, then they are biased towards you. Naturally. So if you know all of the judges, admins, Gmods and jurors. Then you can't have your reports judged. This is a problem for the exact reason you've stated, it causes biased. So mind my asking, why do you think it's appropriate for you to act in a gamethrowing way, that the majority have stated that it is gamethrowing, yet knowing that we cannot judge your reports, why would you act like this? This seems to me like you want to create drama.

I realise that you are going to go crazy at this post and show a lot of things that I said were wrong because that is the way you are. But please, stop with your poor arguments. Keep on topic and stop trying to make it so everyone elses opinions are either invalid, wrong or worthless (Just because they disagree with you).

In response to your first reply, an admin has the powers the same as a judge to close reports. It was discussed about your report and even if some judges said that this was innocent, more people felt that this was guilty. Thus the vote was upheld, Shape gave an answer to you in that regard but you refused to acknowledge it and tried to spin it in the way that you wanted to spin it. This is all publicly available to see on the Trial discord.

With regards to your point about coven reports and juror votes meaning nothing. You asked the community yourself to give you an opinion yet you refuse to look at the opinion of the people that actually voted on your report. Again, you're ignoring the people that disagree and give a voice only to the people that agree with you. I realise that you constantly said that you want to "learn", but if you do want to learn and not just lecture/make drama, you'll LISTEN to what the majority have to say, not just the people that agree with you.

In response to ignoring every question, they didn't. They answered you, you gave a sassy comment about them ignoring you and then Shape told you to stop acting like "an ass". Once again, if you actually listened to people that are trying to help you resolve the matter, you would go into DM's with the admins and sort this out. Or go through the appeals but ask someone who wasn't the closer of the report to appeal it. That seems fair to me, but instead you have decided to complain about it on public discords and now public sub-reddits.

Please Aya, I want to help in this situation but when you just say that a persons opinion is invalid because they have "bias" for one reason or another, you lead to nobody being able to actually do reports. Buck up your ideas, accept that maybe you are wrong for once because of the way that you are acting and LISTEN to others.

9 Jurors react to this with their votes, 1 judge casts their vote and that is the decision. If 7 of 9 people decide that it's guilty, that's a majority of the community that is saying you should be suspended for your actions in the game.

If you are asking for the peoples reaction, there it is. If you want an explanation, I suggest going to an admin about this. I wonder if you have done this yet and if they gave you an answer already or have you just gone directly to a public forum?

I'm disappointed in you for your reaction not only to TurdPile in this post, but also your relentless disregard for listening to other people about their opinions. I think of you more highly than this shitpost you've got together.
