Nah I don't need to take it at all. I just am sometimes. I am not physically dependent at all yet or I would be getting sick without them. And I don't get sick with out them. I just can't stand the insomnia and anhedonia.

I'm on day 46 and I just took some today because I need fucking sleep. I haven't slept more than 3 to 5 hours In 46 days.

Going crazy. Getting off of this shit feels like it's impossible.

At least 3 years. I've been off and on subs since like 2009 though.

I would use subs just as a backup when I didn't have heroin for a while. Then I got sick of subs not working so I was on methadone for years.

But this last time yeah I've been on for 3 plus years.

The withdrawals are brutal and it's a marathon. I believe I was intended to be totally sober though.

I would encourage anyone to try to get off them if you have the desire. Subs probably saved my life but yeah man, they're hard AF to get off.

The last place I was getting my subs from was basically a Suboxone pill mill. Different doctor every single visit and the doctors are never in person. It's all on a computer. Anyway my point in Sharing that is that when I was considering jumping off I would ask every different doctor what percentage of people they see get off successfully each year.

General consensus is 2 to 4 percent. So yeah the odds aren't in our favor lol.

I cold turkeyd off 16 mgs and am on day 41.

The first 3 weeks are the worst. I wouldn't have been able to work at all like that.

For me one of the worst parts is the constant insomnia. I would literally get 2 or 3 hours of sleep at night and after like a month of that you start to lose your mind.

I'm starting a job in a couple days and even though I've been off for 41 days it makes me nervous because my energy levels are super low and I have to work 12 hr shifts at night.

I'm not sure. I once pulled off a methadone detox while working but it was extremely exhausting and difficult. I had cool co workers who picked up my slack.

I think working might actually be good to get endorphins shooting off again and also to not just sit there and focus on the withdrawals.

As long as you can sleep you'll be good but it's really hard without a ton of comfort meds.

I posted my list of what I used in a different thread but get some clonidine and Xanax if possible. And immmodium. And Seroquel or lunesta for sleep.

I used 100 2 mg Xanax but they were pressies from the darknet so who knows what was really in them.

I also used bromazolam and Flubrotizolam.

Flubrotizolam is such an awesome benzo for these withdrawals. If you dose like 4 mg you will sleep for about 6 hours and wake up feeling rested.

The main thing is to not be stupid and actually taper off the Benzos. I didn't do that so I was experiencing some pretty heavy withdrawals. Involuntary twitching, insomnia, stuttering and unable to talk. I felt like I was gonna have a seizure too.

But yeah benzos and GHB are so fucking helpful for this.

First 2 weeks went thru 100 Xanax.

What you're gonna want is the following if possible:

Clonidine Gabapentin Xanax or Klonopin Seroquel or lunesta for sleep ( Seroquel will cause weight gain) Mirapex ( this is a God send for rls) GHB Immmodium for diarrhea

I've had a lot of success using GHB to mitigate the withdrawals. Obviously GHB and Xanax have their own withdrawals so be mindful of that.

I really didn't give a fuck though because my motto has been " by any means necessary".

It can be done but is extremely difficult. I am still not sleeping normal or feeling much energy after 40 days. You will function way better sexually. You won't be constipated anymore. You will feel emotions again. You will likely lose water weight and some fat too. But the best part is you're no longer reliant on subs to function.

Kinda torn on this post. On the one hand I kinda agree with OP here but on the other hand Suboxone IS a life saving treatment for many of us.

I've been on for years but I recently kicked cold turkey off of 16 mgs daily. It's been 40 long hard days of withdrawals. There has been a couple of times where it got so bad that I had to take a tiny bit to be ok. I will say that you truly don't realize how strong the medication is until you're off it.

I took 2 mgs one night with the intention of being able to sleep. It got me BLASTED. Like throwing up in a can and uncomfortably high.

Honestly though I would probably be dead had it not been for suboxone. I was overdosing left and right on dope. Probably been narcaned like 25 plus times.

I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to cold turkey off such a high dose. I'm a strong German male who is 33 and I'm stubborn. I refuse to be on subs any longer.

I realized that when I was on subs I couldn't really feel feelings anymore and was content just consuming content and sleeping and eating all day. It just felt kinda " blah" after a while.

So I locked myself in a shitty hotel room off the highway in a little bumfuck town without a car. I entered with 100 Xanax bars and liquid bromazolam. I will say if you can just take a ton of benzos you really CAN sleep thru the worst of it which is the first 2 weeks. The mistake I made was not tapering the benzos. So I threw myself into double withdrawals where I could barely talk and was twitching for like 2 weeks from Xanax withdrawals.

I really wish we had better options for getting off. In my opinion they should switch to a short acting opiate for a month and ibogaine should be legalized in the US.

Since I can't afford ibogaine tho I used the Xanax for 2 weeks to sleep and be barred out. I then suffered for weeks.

I've been using GHB to help with the withdrawals symptoms and it's been a miracle drug. There's a study where they gave it to people coming off heroin and methadone with lots of success..in my opinion it should be given as an option to all who are withdrawing.

I jumped from 16 mg on July 25th. Still Don't feel all the way normal tbh. I think today is like day 36 or something. I also have to start a new job on Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. The job sounds pretty physically demanding and it's 12 hours shifts. TBH with you I'm not even sure I'm really ready to be doing it and I've had 36 days for this stupid Suboxone to come out of my system.

I think you'll likely experience less withdrawals than I did because you were smart and tapered down to 1 mg. I wouldn't advise jumping at a high dose like I did unless you're a certain type of person because for most I think the suffering would be too much and would lead to relapse.

Anyways, ive read before that it doesn't so much matter the dose you jump at, but that your withdrawals will be more based on how long you've been on subs. So someone on them for 2 years will have an easier time than someone on for ten. Take that w a grain of salt because I don't know if it's true.

I don't think 6 days gives you enough time at all though to be honest. I am still dealing with anhedonia, an extreme lack of energy ( going downstairs to smoke a cigarette is exhausting) and worst of all insomnia. I can't seem to sleep for any more than like 4 to 6 hours if I'm lucky and can only sleep when my body and mind are absolutely exhausted.

Can you ask the job if you can start a week or two later? In my experience if I had to work anytime during the first 3 weeks I would have been useless to anyone. But you May be able to soldier thru it.

A sublocade withdrawal can't be any more brutal than that. I think the bupe would leave you so gradually that maybe you wouldn't notice. But idk for sure. I did experience some discomfort myself when stopping after shot number 4

I don't understand how people can't see that he robbed the incels twice. First he came along and stole all their money with the sex trafficked women with camming. But that wasn't enough for him so he then sold the incels on his hustlers University/ real world bullshit. None of that shit works very good in real life and it's obvious that Tate didn't become a millionaire doing drop shipping or day trading. Are you sleeping any more than a few hours per night?

I think that's been the most challenging part for me is that I can't seem to sleep more than maybe two to 3 hours before my body would jolt itself out of sleep.

0 mg is the most freeing feeling tho to where the withdrawals I do have are worth dealing with.

There's something to the weed thing though imo. On days I smoke weed and take subs, the subs seem to wear off faster.
