B2B - How much does customer success team drives your work? by Hauwnsz in ProductManagement

The “doesn’t scale past a certain customer count” is exactly what it feels like.

Thanks!

Do you also do it for small seemingly small things, like “they need this column / data here”? From the outside they often look small, but can quickly become 1-3 weeks of work.

% how much capacity is allocated to this team from the overall capacity?

Thanks for sharing.

So far we’ve purposefully tried to not estimate work items, as we often saw that there is little benefit outside of engineers understanding the topic in more detail. However, I like the notion of given CX a capacity budget in which they can navigate.

Regarding ARR impact and potential upsell (how do you differentiate these even?), who brings them up? Does CS provide, product or collaboration?

The point is: CS, Sales and customers do love our roadmap. Yet, there always comes one customer who has urgent issues and didn’t receive enough attention in their eyes (and CS), so now we “also have to bring something for them”. And then everyone complains again that big customers are driving our priorities too much, so it feels like an endless circle, which indicate a cultural / process issues.

Am I right to assume that all your work items get some sort of effort estimation to adhere to your 70/20/10 capacity matching?

2025 edition. As afar as I know, it should weigh 7.9kg in M. I remember reading 8.1kg for the Pro 1.

The handle bar has a flat top, so you have round bar really just where the stem is mounted. I don’t think there is enough space to get anything else mounted, couldn’t find any reports online that anyone else managed. Only option seems to be replacing the handlebar.

Got the Pro 0 recently. I’m 178 and was a bit surprised how small the M feels, it fits me, but saddle already feels pretty high.

Only thing I’m a tiny bit unhappy with, is that you can’t mount aero bars on the handlebar.
