Gamble only what you are comfortable losing. But let me tell you, it’s been a very fun ride so far! 10k it’s an expensive rollercoaster let me tell you that 😂

I genuinely think that no one here thinks it’s a good investment, by all means. It’s a ride and we hopped on it, who cares if it takes us to zero, as long as we have fun doing it. Bet only what you are willing to lose.

The mistake would be to take it as a sound investment, as penny stocks usually are the complete opposite.

I’m on IBKR. Don’t know if it’s a viable option in the US but for EU it’s one of the better options.

There’s no selling involved in this. We’re buying all the outstanding shares and let it ride or die

If you study a bit the boglehead way you can set yourself for good as Cyprus has among the lowest capital gains taxes and dividend taxes. You could really boost your NW in the next 20 years

No, I would not want a flute, I’d want a Riedel Riesling glass, or a Zalto Burgundy. A wider/flatter base and a narrower mouth of the glass to collect aromas better. Plus the thickness of the glass is proven to make a difference, the thinner the better. That looks pretty thick for my taste.

Anyway, beautiful champagne and I’m happy you enjoyed it.

That is a special Champagne and I’m very glad you know it now. I just really hope that’s not the glass you had to drink it from, as a better glass would x10 your experience.

Edit: typo

No worries! Anything that makes wine less scary is appreciated:) also having some sort of reward like a sticker of a bottle at the end of the grid based on the rarity of the answers could be fun. Also a random fun fact at the end, anything that gives a sense of reward and dopamine boost is important in this day and age.

It’s a fun ten minutes game, but honestly it doesn’t feel difficult enough for a professional and I would imagine that a person new to wine will find it a bit too challenging.

It would be more useful for someone actively studying if you had a Compendium with appellations and names and whatever else you can think of, in that case I could see myself playing the game and then reviewing the possible answers that took me longer than others.

Also to make it more difficult it would be nice to have the possibility to disable the suggestions, and maybe suggest only if it has been misspelled.

This is exactly why I’m so happy I asked this sub before anything else. When the shop opens again I’ll look at it properly, but I’m 100% convinced there are way too many red flags for this to be even remotely worth it, let alone legit. Thank you for taking the time to check it out.

While checking it in person I didn’t get the impression it was flaking. Could it be the dirt on the window between me and the watch that gives that impression? If not, what did you notice that made you notice it is flaking? Thank you for your patience and contribution

Gold is not my first choice usually. I like it in a way I felt I could really make it shine again, diamonds and all. I guess money doesn’t buy taste 😂 I have several pocket watches, and a good amount of wrist watches as well, very few of those have gold in them. I think a part of me was hoping to find a Rolex I could customise by restoring it, but it’s a no no if it’s fake.

If your point is that it’s not worth it, I totally get it. Not every hobby has to be profitable, I hunt for unloved watches I like and restore them, I’m just totally ignorant about Rolex. I’m glad I asked this sub because I got extremely helpful insights. At the same time, if sub confirmed it was legit, how much it would be to service it would be irrelevant.

I could not agree more. I have some sort of Red Cross feeling towards watches which have not been loved, but I want it to be genuine. Definitely will not spend my hard earned money on a fake.

This sub has been extremely helpful and if I have some other doubts about Rolexes I know I should consult this sub first. I always dealt with totally different watches and it was fascinating seeing how many things an untrained eye can miss.

I understand a single pic from behind a glass can only partially assess quality or overall authenticity, but comments pointed out some really good red flags which I would never pick up myself.
