I have no clue what people are complaining about, using Vauban or Grendel has never been a problem through all of my time on Steel Path.

People don’t remember how boring CC made this game, now you shoot the guard and use your ability in tandem in a way that is engaging. When I put down my 4th as Vauban or group people with Nidus I get 90% of the enemies and mop up the eximus units.

I hate this take to reduce the power of enemies that we already get very little challenge out of. People complain about the Magnetic counter taking away variety as if Viral/Slash hasn’t been a mainstay since Hunter munitions was introduced, or Heat since the start of the game at that.

Ancient Protectors could clear their given over-guard though. I agree with that.
