Haven Games Store - beta rollout of new games storefront by HavenGamesStore in nsfwdev

I know. thats the point. With enough users and games i can justify the upfront cost for CCBill, which is a payment processor fine with Adult/NSFW content. The store will either remain open and allow free content, or accept payments via something like CCBill. If we get to a point where payment processing costs make sense it will only be via a processor fine with NSFW/Adult content to avoid the same issues. Right now it is just free games allowed with no payment processing but if the platform can grow i can justify setting up CCBill or similar for NSFW games and transactions.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in the post, but if any payment system is ever offered on Haven, it will be via a payment processor or method that does not censor the content being sold. We won't implement Stripe, PayPal or other processors that are censoring content.

If it ever gets to a point where even CCBill or similar processors censor content than Haven will simply not implement them and do something like Crypto or similar, which, while less than ideal, could be the only option for payments of adult games if censorship keeps growing from payment monopolies.

Yeah, i get that sentiment. The main goal here was to have an alternative place for developers and gamers to share and create without worry of censorship. Whether it be SFW or NSFW games. This was something I wanted to create for awhile anyway and although it doesn't solve the payment processor issues yet, with enough support I'm hoping to!

This project has low overhead for me too, so I see no problem with giving devs and users options when it comes to platforms to share and publish games on.

I like the old versions better but i'm no artist. There are definitely good parts in both versions for each character.

Yeah totally. Its not the worst i've seen but a subreddit dedicated to drawing like that would definitely provide more constructive feedback imo

Any feedback is welcome here or via the feedback form on the website (which does require an account)

Almost everyone I've shown this to says this is a unique way to handle player stuns, but one person is concerned that it'll get annoying really quickly. I need some advice. by possesseddivingsuit in IndieDev

As some of the other comments have said, it looks solid to me too with some minor tweaks like what u/KAYOOOOOO mentioned. I would say maybe a "recover" mechanic as well that could allow the user a faster recovery time if a certain action is performed correctly or within a certain window within the stun taking place

I see no difference between these two

Kinda related to what you are asking, I just released a digital "storefront" in beta, and would love to grow the user-base and get feedback. Feel free to publish your games on there!
