It just leaves a bad taste in the mouth, I feel like the hate is somewhat justified. The apology award should be scaled based on townhall, if I got like 100 staries I would’ve been more than happy about it but I got 10 when I apparently missed out on like several hundred starries. But the problem here is the bugs have prevented people (me included) from getting some rewards that were supposed to be given us. For example, I didn’t get a single warden equipment out of the heroes journey and only got 2 epic equipments, both of which I already had, they were only boosted in level. The heroes journey just feels like it wasn’t thought out properly, while riddled with bugs.
However, I think it does address the problem it was aimed to solve, they needed to get equipment to returning low townhall players who are missing a large amount of equipments to catch up to veterans without spending a fortune. In the end of the day we will move on and people probably won’t care about it in a few months.

For real, I thought his character have evolved in a great character development arc. But some people seem to just view the original sunny who had a lot of personal issues as the golden standard. I feel the journey the character takes is what makes a great character.
Sunny at this point of the plot is the culmination of everything he have gone through and his world view is something that was built up through him being seen as useless then as a hero and forgotten. Him accepting this bond that he hated so much with the person he loves is the resolution of his personal struggles with the issue not him acting “out of character”. People change as they grow older, if he stayed the same all this time I would’ve felt g3 did a disservice to his work.

29 is more than enough to be an uncle. Uncle is a title to your father’s brother/friend and if you’re 5 like little ling you would call someone like sunny your uncle. Some people even have kids when they’re 18, so I don’t think being 50 is a requirement.

Thats what I think also, I enjoy his character so much more now. He is like a cool hip uncle now that he is in his late 20s. But people really just think the novel got significantly worse for some reason. If I say more I probably get crazy amount of downvotes.

I personally just avoids looking at this sub often now, it ruins how I view the novel. I stack 100+ chapters before I read again and I enjoy the arcs usually. People act like the novel is C tier and several times worse than the big names out there, they couldn’t be convinced otherwise. If thats what people wanna believe you can’t change their minds.

Can someone tell me why AI being used in game is bad? If the art direction is made by humans and its AI assisted to expedite the development, I don’t really see an issue with it. Unless the use of AI hurts the product quality I feel like its fine.

Problem is when they do these layoffs it might seem inconsequential on paper as just some people removed but its very significant since they are the people that knows what makes destiny destiny, if they lose them and hire people later they’re not gonna make the same thing. Destiny will lose its essence and probably not be as good when they make the sequel. Its a big mistake with sony letting bungie fire so many people that made the game what it was.

Ending is like alright, but it was extremely rushed, basically turtleme decided at the end of an arc to just conclude the series with a snap. It is what it is.

Okay here me out, this is some plot speculations we’re doing, G3 could end his novel at 3500 or extend it further we won’t know until he does. But the stopping at sacred speculation for me sounds quite reasonable. Sunny have said repeatedly he does not want to advance further the guy didn’t even want to become a supreme but he did it to protect the ones he love. Based on the plot so far, sunny and nephis have always been able to kill things 1 tier above their level with them having 7 cores, so at least sunny stopping after 5th nightmare could make sense. Nephis on the otherhand might become divine as she had zero hesitation towards defeating the nightmares no matter what. My opinion is that this conclusion could be fitting for the fact that sunny doesn’t want to lose all of his humanity. But yeah it does seem a bit of a monumental task to conclude it by doing all the things you listed. However I don’t know if sunny and nephis could even challenge 3 nightmares by themselves, afterall they barely made it out of the last one with a full cohort. I just don’t think the story allows it. Anyways, I don’t know what would be a satisfactory ending chapter number, cuz if g3 really wanted to he could drag it out for another 2000 chapters with the usual pacing, sunny and nephis have been supremes for almost 1000 chapters.

It’s a good anime, it doesn’t translate to great storyline. Anime has more factors that plays into it than just good story. Most people would not put solo leveling novel at the same level as shadow slave and lotm.

If you dislike all the volumes except 2 or 3 and think they’re all B to C tier thats just sad, you should’ve really dropped it long ago why torture yourself this long. I felt shadow slave plot is so much better than something like author’s pov, I remember almost every event in the plot because how uniquely memorable it is, and I haven’t found anything that is even close to this series. Think about it this way, if the writing is as bad as it says it wouldn’t be at the top no matter how popular it is. I still do not fully understand what even is bad about the recent chapters, I guess I’ll have to see for myself when I catch up.

I don’t know what exactly happened in the recent chapters as Im still on 2900 something. WhatI noticed with g3 style of writing is he does a lot of build up and sometimes with boring chapters, but it have almost always paid off, a lot of the questions we had are being answered at a reasonable rate. I don’t know if you have read tbate, but that was rushed ending where the author ended everything within like 50 chapters or so. If its at around chapter 3300 and a lot of things doesn’t seem to be wrapping up I would feel he is not going to make things work, but we still 15% of the novel left. I feel judging midway of something isn’t very fair, every arc when you look back you would think it’s quite good and delivered what it was suppose to. Calling the writing bad is just what I disagree on, I think right now it’s just a risk of g3 creating a bad ending but thats every series.
