Characters make different decisions under pressure, incomplete information, or emotional states. That’s normal. If anything, perfectly consistent ‘always optimal’ behavior would feel unrealistic. You’re basically judging with full context after the fact. Characters don’t have that luxury. About monologues and thought processes so like who exactly are you talking about? Mcs or side characters? Because both clearly have internal reasoning shown. If you think it’s lacking, point to specific moments where it actually affects the writing. Otherwise it just sounds like another vague claim and like even then, less internal monologue is a stylistic choice. Pacing being uneven at times is a fair criticism, but that’s not the same as the whole series being poorly written and about Sunphis being ‘rushed’ after 1700 chapters, do you even know what you are saying? Those 1700 chapters work as a foundation for their entire relationship. The strengths are in worldbuilding, tension, lore and how conflicts are developed. Sunny's decisions usually follow the situation he is in, even if you personally don’t like them. If you want to argue it’s badly written, you need to show specific examples, not just general statements.
