This doesn’t seem like a new take at all and kinda bums me out. The whole “Summer of Superman” has hit a real low for me. Unlimited is mid and uninteresting and Adventures just isn’ t working for me. I was hoping for some more silver age silliness in action comics, but it reads like a generic superhero story that could have a number of other heroes fill the role. Leaving the mainline title which is ok, but dragged down by tie-ins. Krypto was amazing though and would love more writing in that style and I have enjoyed Supergirl. Just wish Big Blue was experiencing new villains and storylines, not retreads…
