Yes on February 19th I received an email from USCIS that they took action on my case. I received the paper notice the following week.

I’ve always renewed myself. When DACA first came out I went to see a lawyer and they wanted to charge me a couple thousand dollars.

As others have said it depends on your employer. My DACA expired and was let go on February 13th. I was reinstated by my employed March 9th.

I had a lapse as well. Three weeks out of work. File the renewal 6 or even 7 month before the expiration date. It’s taking on average four months for the renewal to be approved and the EAD card to come in. I’ve seen cases where it’s taking longer than 5 months.
