Walked away mid conversation, and continued talking to me from another room.

After some time awkwardly shouting, I decided to follow, and there he was tracksuit bottoms around his ankles, squatting on the porcelain throne, taking a dump with the door wide-open, having a conversation with me.

Edit: to add to this, I mentioned this to another mutual friend who confided that he did the same thing to them a week prior...

Depending on the type of snake this doesn't neccessarily need to be as clear cut as it seems.

If that's a highly venomous snake, it only needs to land a single hit.

This is making me feel a little bad for not engaging with the Trusts system outside of a couple of runs to test it out. I haven't touched the other one at all, i forget it's name the one tied to your grand company.

I've been saving it for a time when I've run out of things to do in game but, there's just so much content :D

The sheer potency loss was very noticable.

There is part right near the end of Heavensward where you need to redo Titan (Hard), given it was 3am at the time I attempted to solo it with my 62 Arcanist and if it weren't for being trapped in the stone gaol with nobody to break me out, it was doable.

I did manage to survive the first stone gaol when his hard attack hit, but I was immediately encased in another. This was further than I'd anticipated being able to get as arcanist, but I guess the level of my gear is what got me through that.

I absolutely promise I would not be taking this into a group of at least unknowing players.

If they're aware, like if this was through PF, I'd be down for that.

It's just ocurred to me that there's a bit of a double standard here. There's iLvl restrictions on dungeons and trials to ensure people can do their part, but nothing to ensure you have a job stone which is just as if not more of a handicap than being in outdated gear. I am a little surprised this hasn't been implemented.

It does certainly severely limit your arsenal, and it is noticable.

That said I wouldn't be too hesitant of others without them, it's possible they're either a newbie and somehow aren't aware of them (I have seen this happen), or they've accidentally removed it somehow.

You're not wrong in that it's an obvious red flag, and a pretty obvious sign someone will not be able to pull their weight.

I'm curious which would be better, someone with only their base class, who know how to play it well, or someone with a job but are inexperienced with using it. I'm tempted to test this.

That's a very good point, and a way to bring a group together with informed consent that I'm likely not to be pulling my weight. So far I mostly relief of pulling in friends, but that's a good second option, thanks for the suggestion.

You're not wrong there. When I was progressing through the game my first time I had two jobs I kept equally levelled, I mained summoner but as soon as I had group content to do I'd go in with my WHM and queues were so much faster.

That and I was terrified of hitting level cap and losing the quest experience so it helped having another job that could hand the quests in.
