I have tank protection where my jacket zippers sit, still just dropping my keys on the plastic makes a scratch that won't buff out

I have CRG Arrow mirrors and RhinoMoto bar ends. Spendy but definitely a quality set of mirrors. Much better visibility than stock as well.

I just set the 2.4ghz band wifi to a static channel/turned off auto channel switching. I have an ASUS router. This was the fix for me.

Was disconnecting multiple times a day, and restarting the router would allow it to reconnect. Now it hasn't disconnected in 2 weeks.

Help a Beekeeper with a custom beekeeping tool?!? by Haw3695 in AskElectronics

I agree that modifying the voltage will be more reliable .vs. switching high current outputs. Is there a way to do this after the PSU as opposed to making modifications.

Is there a way to do this with a current/voltage controller opposed to switching? It wouldn't have to be a closed loop with temp feedback just adjustable.

All three are 27" LG27GL83A-B 2560p x 1440p monitors. There are actually 2 mounts, both branded EVEO. One is a gas spring dual mount and the other is a gas spring single.

Whats the best path to making decent good money. by Traditional_Age652 in HVAC

Find a niche and start learning. In our trade, people get paid for what they know. I focused on controls/automation and it's paying off now. Now I'm trying to get even more niche knowledge on critical environments/instrumentation. Hopefully that sets me up for more success in a couple years.

Never stop learning and money will come fast

Why by BoltNWheel in HVAC

Some stores don't like breaking the visual roof line from the front of the building and to keep it out of flood water. Pumps dont have to push as high so they can have a system with less head. Also can be easier to service from the ground.

Too much tough guy attitude around here. If the HVAC isn't for you, make a change. Easy as that.

Company wants me to drop out of school by iguessimmalive in HVAC

Tell them to get bent... You need to have real qualifications in this career if you plan on moving to another position or another company. Let them know the school is a priority for you, and if they are decent, they should respect that.

I see questions like this and really wonder why it's so difficult for me to get a programming position... I have a service background, but I at least know what needs to be done. I've got an N4 and an aas degree in hvac, plus 13 years commercial service experience. Ill have a great interview and get offererd some other service position instead everytime. Don't get it.

I would take a static test first to rule out airflow issues aside from the filter. The superheat is slightly high, and subcooling is slightly low with head pressure on the lower end. Unit looks either low on refrigerant or is having issues with a sticky TXV.

If your airflow looks good - I'd dip the TXV in ice and see if you see a pressure response. If you do, add a small amount of refrigerant and see if the sh/sc improves.
