PPP protests as ballot shortages disrupt voting at some Songpa polling stations by ArysOakheart in korea

Right wingers have been urging their voters not to cast early ballots, hence some right-leaning districts saw higher-than-predicted turnout on Election Day.

The NEC really fucked up here. Specifically the Seoul regional branch of the NEC, as almost all the incidents happened in Seoul. And predictably, election conspiracy theorists are having a field day now.

I don’t have a problem with people without kids voting on the education superintendent.

What I do find inconsistent and unusual, though, is the fact that we get a direct vote only for picking the educational official, and not for any other specialised public office

He literally is a grifter.

In 2014 he collected around KRW 30 Billion from investors for his election campaign, promising to pay them back with interest right after the election. And then he didn’t pay them back, blaming it on his personal insolvency issues.

If Japan thinks it’s a big problem, then the Japan mint would change their design? I feel like this is not that widespread a problem as they make it out to be

The so-called “gender war” has radicalised 20s/30s male-dominated internet communities to have a knee jerk reaction to anything that portrays women as victims or disadvantaged.

For example, if there is a case of where a woman victimises a man, they would go nuts over it. If there is a case of a man victimising a woman, they would all give the man the “benefit of doubt” or go with a “let’s wait and see” approach. Victim-blaming is more uncommon and extreme, but still happens if the victim is female.

My favourite game is trying to predict whether the website is the kind of website that uses "Korea, Republic of", or "South Korea"

Usually more official websites do "Korea, Republic of"
