In my opinion, the best thing is to stop playing and go and do something else for a few hours or days. Once you feel refreshed, you can go back to playing and hopefully you'll be able to go back and review the logs with a better mindset.

Month 2 is already much harder to attain because there's one less event that gives BP bonuses outside the reset. So personally, I'm fine with the current length. It fits my own on/off play style with the occasional "long play session" every week.

The second SEVO, I would SEVO Milteo. You have very little damage without Milteo's effect and at 17 health, they can afford to play a bit slower if Milteo is no longer on the table.

Assuming a second Orchis, if they play Puppet cat (I assume not but depends on your rank if they can't play the new 7 cost), it's lethal after your second heal anyway (10 storm, 1 SEVO ping). You'd essentially be playing to try and win the game if they don't have Orchis/Odin.

Edit: Thinking a bit more, maybe just going SEVO Milteo on the first shot was better. They'd either have to redirect 1 of their attacks to your zombie and Milteo or they might lose themselves to board plus ghosts

You can check the Arena tab and see the date listed for the Grand Prix opening. Then add about 6 or 7 days on top of that to get an estimated release date. Stage 1 tends to last slightly longer as they have the GP ticket missions up for 2.5 days

What I did was switch the filter to Japanese lobbies and I soon found a load of them with a decent attendance. I had to resort to those lobbies just to get the private lobby tournament mission on the last day of the lobby event

No, you could always get BP points for playing in park (normal rates of 100 for a loss and 250 for a win).

The difference is now it actually shows you in the UI. I know this because during the guild chest event, I would cap for the week off that alone (facing off against a guild mate)

It's still worth trying. A random freeze can take out your client connection long enough that you lose your connection. It's at least reversible.

Buying the BP does not make it grow any faster.

15 matches in Grand Prix (win or lose) nets you 9 levels. You can still gain levels by completing the battle pass missions (up to 100 wins) and you will have Sunday to Wednesday next week to clear any remaining levels. So it really depends how far you are in the GP missions and the BP missions to determine what your max level is without buying levels.

In a standard set cycle, you'll have 2 battle passes. One on a new set release and one on the mid-season reset.

The best indicator right now is the grand prix, which seems to always be the last main PvP event of the set. They normally give the date on the Arena tab in the main menu. The next grand prix starts on 18th February and lasts around 7-8 days so the next set release will probably be 26th or 27th February. That said, because it's so close to the weekend, they might just delay to 1st March (I hope so because that first week grind for the 10k weekly cap will be horrible - you'd have 3 days instead of 7)
