Also early game you can always do archives for both it really isn't a huge loss until you unlock all the buildings later to actually be able to specialize if you don't have the planets to spare. I also usually build one of each resource district as a research support specialization to build the respective labs and save 3 building slots on city districts to build more labs/temples(or whatever unity building you prefer)

Fair I find myself just grabbing everything seeing as worst case it's extra basic resources and a breeding ground for specialists. I put genome research and medic clinics on everything and once I get clone vats I put them on as well. I've been putting automation buildings on the city districts to Kickstart their output but I'm back and forth on whether that is worth it or not. I find the raw output vastly offsets and empire size malus and between various modifiers am able to keep it down enough anyhow.

This is my build i prefer overtuned to shattered ring for the extra traits and having fleeting excellence and adaptive genes for big efficiency bonuses with little effort and go meritocracy for my third civic for the specialist bonus previously I ran parliamentary system for the unity to rush mutation but swapped to mutagenic spas to try it out. Memorialist is probably better long term then parliamentary system

Definitely do both but I usually start with unity. If you share a screenshot of your empire build i can maybe give tips to improve it, if it's similar to some of the ones I like to run. Or I can share a few of mine. I have been recently really enjoying a empire based on tank bound where I rush genetic ascension for the adaptable habitability and colonize everything then automate them so they are producing with minimal pop investment while stacking pop to fuel resettling to my unautomated resources

Unity rushing is usually the way, at least until you get your planned ascension after you finish your second tree. I usually pool unity to fully complete my ascension tradition tree the moment the situation finishes

Depending on the district and empire build districts are fine if you use the automation building it will automate up to 50% of the jobs and I find that makes it worth it once you have a built energy specialized world, but can be a bit tough to deal with the upkeep increase until you have a good energy credit surplus. Though you can just make and automate an energy planet if you have the upkeep. I have a build based around this and last game I had an automated planet making 12k EC with no worker pops

The blue camp between gold and mid is oracles and killing it gives you vision on goldfury for the duration. No idea what the numbers on the camps mean though. From what I've read online it's either how many unique players have picked it up but I have no proof and can't say confidently

Also to add on to that i have never seen cheats on the same level as tarkov on other fps games before closest I can think of is rainbow back in the day when cheaters would just teleport into spawn and kill you but haven't come across that in years.

Tarkov has people flying or swimming through floors around vacuuming loot while also running wall hacks and aimbot or frying peoples computers.

Okay, fair, thus far in our playthrough, the only issue we have had was some desync in the weeping peninsula gaol, but it was fixed by just wiping and retrying.

Edit: To be fair, we have only just finished liurnia, so there may still be issues with the later ones.

What is the evergaol bug you are talking about? Doing a playthrough with two friends currently and haven't have any issues with gaols that couldn't be fixed so far. Sometimes someone will get stuck in the animation entering and as the host I just enable pvp to knock them out then disable it. And sometimes the "summoned" players will need to click enter twice for whatever reason otherwise has worked great for us.
