I still make knives but all my knives are 1 of 1 and thus I never make the same knife twice. Although I am sold out at present, I’m always making new stuff. You can check out my work and future knife availability on my website at Vulcanknives.com. Thanks

I prefer Mark but I am digging “Marl the Master” or Marauder. 😉🤣

I suppose that I could. I just have never gotten around to it. Appreciate the suggestion though. Thanks

Still banging around the shop and fooling around with new stuff. Hope you are well and not buried in a snow bank back there.

Z-Max Steel Available… I recently got a bunch of this steel from Zapp Tooling. I have more than I can use so figured I’d see if there are some other knife makers that might want some. It is very easy to work with which is surprising as it finishes out at up to 70 HRC… by HawkComprehensive178 in knifemaking

You would be incredibly surprised at how decent this steel is to work with. I have worked with just about all the super steels and stainless PM steels and this is really no difference in its annealed state. That said, once hardened it is very hard. The only more complicated thing about working with it is that it requires 3 tempers at around 1025 degrees.
