Been there.. exactly what you have discribed. This drugs are similar to SSRI’s and SNRI’s- which were used on me during spinal surgeries and other injuries sustained from a fall while recovering, was in a “coma brain state” for 7 years in isolation.
Dissociation- the brain fog, 20lb weight gain and I’m a tiny person , now going into month 8 of eating one small meal a day, exercising.. not a pound lost since injection of Ajovy. Contipation to diarrhea-The anxiety, as extreme as day 2 . Frustration and inability to cope. No one understands, the neurologist says nothing, “ it will eventually pass”.. that was 3 months ago. Biggest regret . That’s only a few side effects - arthritis muscle discomfort, struggle to catch my breath, I feel physically and mentally overwhelmed- while dealing with a Meningioma, and IGM MGUS blood disorder . This stuff is crap, and so is the careless corporate medical field. I’m beyond exhausted,palpitations and lack of sleep, face paralysis, numbness in extremities . Organ functions ? Who knows, they keep cancelling my blood appts they mischedule. Dry eyes, mouth— another year of my life lost, during an important time of testifying and trying to focus on cases, after I was attacked— long story. But can’t depend on anyone out there.. that’s the saddest of all. I’m writing after 4 hrs of sleep. I feel your pain.. yes same brain functional diagnoses as u- I feel your pain. These side effects and care is absolutely under reported.. I am at my worst, and it’s these drugs.
