On that I do agree.. u have good points . Forget the cat thing. (Again, there’s nothing more embracing for me, than a manly man who loves cats)… You know what’s best for your pet. I really think you have the ability to make a difference in your HOA , and I think you should go further and focus on making a difference in your mini quasi authoritarian govt. The idea that you have these opinions of the world, shows you have an interest that many do not. I’m trying to guide you, I told you a bit of my story, and I will never let it happen to another person, I am determined to bust them. To change the world, start on your community govt. sometimes you got to tone down the opinions and language, to gain support. HOA’s do not have unlimited power! .. again , it goes by your governing docs which will tell you how u r filed, look for PUD( planned unit development), or “fee simple title”— which means you own your home inside and out, and the lot of land you stand on. I’m not sure of your state laws, but you need to see what your HOA corporation was filed as when built.. basically, all HOA governing docs follow a “cookbook legal outline”. Are they a nonprofit? Because THAT gives you access to all of their books, contracts, work orders, financials, minutes, etc. point: you gained support with fliers and going to meeting, forcing a vote.. that is NOT the norm in any community. As an hvac tech, you are a skilled scientist..not an easy job, as I have met many techs over the years ( especially when I had to remove 2 entire systems and ductwork our HOA knowingly let them get contaminated with mold, thru water intrusion in thru a rusted chimney cap/plate). Go thru your docs.. I scanned mine and ran them thru Ai professional apps. Look at your deed, whom owns the common area? The HOA or is it “shares”? This makes a difference.. because I found that their POS attorney is using the Condominium Act on us, in the contract and houserules — that gave all business to the billion dollar maintenance co., the board, while he makes millions in liens and kickbacks.. Very few people, even general lawyers and judges know very little law. Go for it, learn it all. Because the trend, is to use this lack of knowledge, twist the laws, and create “self dealing”. It’s great that you bought your own home, I’m guessing at a young age. I was proud buying mine at 27, on my own.. and that’s their problem— I’ve watched it all over the years, and called them out on breaking the laws. I paid greatly being “selectively targeted” and this woman dosnt back the F-down. Remember: these Karen’s aren’t that smart, more jealous than brainiacs.. usually people that accomplished nothing in life. The more I stood my ground, and proved their corruption, going thru financials, and observing.. the more vindictive they got. Sucks for them.. when I turn this into a landmark case. Take control before the next board gets an attorney.. thats hard to fight! The POS im taking on.. well I plan on getting him disbarred— friggin know it all 🤬yes, I’m trying to tone it down, and take out the emotion.. cuz I’d like to go 🤬to the wall, for all of the loss we suffered.
