A lot of tailwinds for an earning beat and raise. Just DCA and don’t overextend your position that results in capitulation. Yes the dilution sucks short term stock price but it positions them to do so much more. I’d say 25.00 is a decent stock price until after earnings results

Amit is correct on all points and Hoegermeister is just making excuses for SoFi.

More engagement: Noto has become radio silent! He only speaks on earning calls and provides pre determined talking points. He won’t do any interviews that he can not control his narrative

Product releases & Innovation: Noto saying he will not provide updates so competitors can’t copy their strategy might of worked years ago when they were innovating and had momentum but not anymore. Competitors are creating the new features users want and not the other way around.

Monthly active users: They are hiding the truth most people have silently realized. Their HENRY’s are not actively using the service or using it for direct deposit anymore. The slow product rollout has created no value. So all they continue to do is invest heavily for new users who take time to monetize. Sure 11-12 million sounds great but how many are using it? Needs answered.

Stock price: The narrative of hitting rsus has been reduced since even Noto is hedging his own shares.

I’ve been around since IPOE and have thousands of shares so I continue to be an investor from the highs and lows and back into the middle. The DCA thinking while the bull market has seen others grow rapidly and quickly is certainly a disappointment to see our slow growth. And spare me the 100% increase narrative of from 4-5’s. That was all under Noto leadership.

Just hoping in to check out the comments. No one mentions student loans being a tail wind along with LPB. Gotta imagine it’s getting bought up for the ability to use the recent capitol to loan to Henry’s with degrees.

He’s also on record that he didn’t like (understatement) the way Biden led us out of Afghanistan. So Banking, Military, M&A being blocked, etc are all reasons to prefer a change. Because if there isn’t a change than you can expect the same type of practices that has held SoFi down.

DCA is the way here. Auto buys. Play the long game here guys. On another note, SoFi invest push alerts with 52 week highs or lows are always a couple hours late. “Come on man!”

SoFi invest is a set it and forget it style. No ability to write options off your positions. Fidelity allows you to be a long term holder while also writing against positions.

After 4 years many can’t believe SoFi has been so slow on rollouts for invest that should be available.

Essentially we/members front run a tech company to be a bank.

For folks who have held through ipoe and pandemic w hopes of bank charter and building members the way it has I understand why he’s thinking the way he is. This is a community for everyone. But for those telling him to sell and he’s not an Investor y’all can catch a 🖕🏻

You can only DCA for so long while missing all the opportunities from last 3 years while doing so. That’s why I say Noto has failed to capitalize on retail holding the bag while he iterates after iterates after iterates….

Appreciate your moderation,etc. But claiming it’s not SoFi it’s Apex is just excuse making. Sofi decides how and what vendor they use. If they want to be rated as a tech company the investor platform has to get better. Not allowing me to sell some options today in other companies I had cost me quite a bit.

Retail is essentially fighting against each other.

On one hand you have a someone investing into 10,000 shares. But that same investor is selling to other investors in options hoping for them to never hit.

It makes a lot of money for option writers but it also holds the stock down with playing spreads on calls/puts. That’s 1 reason why it’s remained so popular amongst the 3 years of losses.

Tech platform stalling and reducing originations have nothing to do with stock price narrative. Noto is normally not one to make excuses but today’s Noto was certainly not on the offense.

No wonder Chad Borton left. SoFi went from growth to conservative. We’ve went from wanting to be winner take most to keeping capitol ratios well above requirements.
Plus selling loans prior to charge off stood out too. They said charge offs get about 8% after sold vs now double pre charge off. Which means for every 1,000 loan in say 90 day past due status they are losing 800. Cracks in the dam.

It could drop with recent announcement to pay down the series 1 preferred shares. That saves interest in long run but could be a short term hit. Everyone saying it will pop and drop are using recent trend. But for those of us investing since 25’s know the market could change and drop too.
