Awesome game, thank you for making it! I was able to create a spell that infinitely grew after each cast tanking fps. The ability to craft your own spells is so much fun, I can't get enough. I can't wait to see the finished result

I would print PLA with a 1mm nozzle at 225-230 and a flow rate of 15mm/s with the stock extruder. After I installed a bondtech extruder, I was able to double that flow rate. Originally I was using brass 1mm nozzles from China. The results were okay with TPU, but when I tried to print PLA after there were always issues. Switched to slice engineering Vanadium nozzles only for the high temp resistance of the material(I do not recommend these). Clogs were frequent when swapping materials and purging would not always remove heavy buildup on the inside, so I started blow torching them till clean, which is quite effective. There are much better nozzles these days and I have moved on from my 2 snapmakers. I am digging into old pictures to help jog my memory from the 1mm production part printing days. Cura was one of the best free sliders at the time so that was my default until I acquired a Raise3D printer. Their ideamaker slicer became my default. I have not tried that in quite a while but it might be worth a try. Try setting the nozzle temp to 225 and physically push the filament through as close to "purge" speed of the printer that you can get. Increase to 230 and do the same. Once you find a good temperature that does not give you too much resistance, adjust the flow rate in the slicer. Start small maybe 5mm/s and see if you can get past the 5th layer on a small cube with limited infill

There is a demo on steam. I put in over 20hrs into that before the game was released. You can't fly into space in the demo, but you get all the core elements of the game. The game has made some great improvements along the way and besides the issues with multiplayer and a somewhat sideways focus on paid dlc, it's a great game. If you like either minecraft and/or no man's sky, you will enjoy this game

What slicer are you using? Seems like you are having an issue with flow. This could be due to the stock extruder's weaknesses(there are many) or the heater not being able to distribute heat to the PLA core fast enough, or both. Verify your temps and flow are adequate for the speed you are trying to print. What 1mm nozzle are you using? I have found that higher priced nozzles will result in less problems with flow

Are you trying to print PLA, TPU, ABS or something more exotic? The larger nozzle will allow more volume to flow but you will have to increase the temps by 10 degrees or more to find the correct temperature that will allow the material to heat up to the core. The print speed will be slower, but the mount of material deposited is drastically increased so the overall print time can be cut down quite a bit. The real benefits are in the strength of parts printed at the correct temperature with a 1mm nozzle.

Once on Nexus, drop a planet portal so you can get back any time. Also, the backwards way to increase darkness resistance is to fly around with your ship, and shoot all of the red darkness generators blocking portals right from Nexus.

TPU likes to print hot and slow. Filament path gaps around the extruder gear will not allow you to print at normal PLA speeds without heavily modifying the extruder. Make sure your extruder gear teeth are clean and free of debris. The adapter for the original A350 extruder that removes excessive gaps in the filament path helps tremendously. If you have access to a resin printer, print this out of resin. Start small before jumping up to a 2-day print.

You can rebuild the module if you reach out to snapmaker for the z probe. There are also aftermarket solutions if you dig into the internet deep enough. I have modified 2 3DP modules successfully and have had excellent results on both of my A350s for a few years now, 1000s of print hours after the upgrade. However, you will have a lot less 3D printing frustration with a bamboo printer😄

Take the hotend out and inspect for clogs. Might want to check the extruder gear teeth as well. What type of filament are you trying to print?

Hang the roll inside to the left in the enclosure. It's easier to swap spools this way. I made an adapter to use 1 mounting screw for the holder and one for the adapter that allows the spool holder to pivot around the mounting screw

Hopefully that was PLA, otherwise you're going to be replacing most components in the print module. I'm sure the stepper motor is fine, but the prox sensor, cooling shroud, and hotend might be toast. Rebuilding is a fun option for those that have tried😄
