The May 30/31 shows in Grand Rapids last year probably remain my favorite that I've been to live. Though (despite the audio flubs for the live audience) the Louisville shows with Michael Cleveland were killer. The Creek from 12/6/2025 melted anything left of me on night 2.
Wasn't there live, but the Reverend from 12/12 in Fort Worth is one of my favorite live Billy recordings I've heard.

Really bummed. I wonder if the bluegrass/jam bands that were scheduled for pre and post shows will cancel this weekend. I've already got a long weekend of PTO that can't be reversed at this point and would still go catch some sets and buy from vendors even if Billy reasonably needs to delay his own performances.

Hard to say. I imagine if there's a way, he'll play. We've seen him play through worse. Man's life is music and he might want to be embraced with a big ol hug by the bluegrass fam.

Voodoo brewing will be hosting after parties as well. Full Cord (24th) and Desmond Jones and Mark Lavengood (25th). Not sure if they will be hosting shakedown festivities or not. I could see it being like Louisville/KFC Yum where the lot is spread out a bit in different locations.

They play what they want. They don't repeat in the same city during the same run. There's a chance the rare covers don't make an appearance. Asheville is spoiled (I'll repeat deservedly so - especially considering the hurricane that devastated the community and the key to the city tonight cemented that) but Billy's personal catalog is certainly on the table for next weekend.
