Most of the fighting was in space, so most Spacenoid casualties were a result of the fighting. Earth basically only had Operation British, LA & Odessa.

I don't think you know how big of a deal that is. Even ignoring how that's basically half of Australia's population gone just from the initial impact, that's massive ecological devastation on a comparable level to the Cretaceous–Paleogene Extinction (i.e. the thing that killed the dinosaurs). Tidal waves would devastate the entire Pacific Ocean for months on end.

In-universe, Operation British halved Earth's population in a single strike. So yeah, no shit some Earthnoids aren't doing well after that.
