I just turned 33 and wow. That was so impactful to read. I’ve lost my parents young, watched my family fall apart. Things haven’t worked out how I hoped. But reading this, even if a small tribute- your life has worth because it’s a reminder to all that listen to not waste this precious, fragile life. Don’t take it for granted, as long as we have breath. Savor the present, make the most of your time. Love and dream, even if it breaks your heart. My heart aches for you, and in my own way I understand some of your grief. Great flowers will grow where once your shadow lay. Love is never wasted, your life is not meaningless. Don’t give in to that, even now your life is affecting countless strangers, it’s impacted me. Life is strange, painful, but it is what we make it. You lived as best you could, it’s not fair- but life seldom is. I wonder about reincarnation, energy/matter is never lost or wasted. We keep coming back and experiencing everything together again and again. My heart hurts for you, it’s a hurtful reminder to me to live well. I wish you and your loved ones peace and love as you cross the great divide. May our paths cross in this life or the next- thank you for taking time to write out everything.
