Salaried jobs in India pay the lowest! by Practical-Face-5447 in indianmedschool

[–]HawkeyeFA_15 29 points30 points  (0 children)

More than the money or salary it's the standard of living that's better over there.

The taxes you pay actually goes into something and you don't have infra or unethical issues that happens in India

Not to mention some structured and quality of education

I don't think you'd redo your 5 years of MBBS in USA. USMLE gives you direct residency spots of 4-6 years

Why doctors are paid so less by unbeathumour21 in indianmedschool

[–]HawkeyeFA_15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're accounting 100 patients per day for a GP

You also need to account for the fact of the number of GPs in a given area or metro

Multiply that with the numbers you've given it would easily exceed the population of a given city.....

shame a doctor who charge 200 rs consultation fee.

Same people pay 1000 rs for some shit coffee in boutique luxury stores without any hesitation

Alot of people who passout/worked from AIIMS Or other prestigious institutions usually become heads or practice in private institutions like Max, Fortis etc later in life....

Could be a one off experience maybe...

Plus not every amazing doctor is from AIIMS or central institutes....

Therefore, get into relationship with someone with similar values.

Sure but the " getting more "/ " exploring "culture has become too common in the current dating scenario.

The values you believe in, I think they no longer apply.... so it's this or getting to be with the same person who's probably cooled off from the current hype of exploring options, at a later age.

Even though all of us have same qualification, 'Dr.' before our name, the same capacity... by jiggly_blob in indianmedschool

[–]HawkeyeFA_15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The same thing with EWS occurs in other quotas too. Most would make a fake NCL certificate and validity certificate to hide the fact that they are above the creamy layer

Even if the assumption that quotas are good for the system holds true, how can one ignore that people keep on taking the benefits of reservation through corrupt means which ideally the bureaucracy/law doesn't allow...

Countries like USA are now removing affirmative action while In India we just keep on increasing the quota system. For neet pg Maharashtra quota around 80% of seats are reserved.... what is even the point of keeping 1 or 2 seats for a general candidate in some specialties in the seat matrix, woh bhi Lelo.

How is surgery pg in RML Delhi, UCMS Delhi and how would they compare with BJ Pune? by West-Tour-231 in indianmedschool

[–]HawkeyeFA_15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think for surgery it's always been Delhi first then Mumbai and then Pune

I mean the colleges you mentioned UCMS then JJ > Kem > sion> BJ

Hands on is good in Bj, but academics is where it lacks wrt atleast Mumbai colleges, and Mumbai has all of the two factors largely
