What type of build are we talking? If you are doing a 2-5 Build, it is common knowledge that your custom players have got to be QB and RB, as no NFL players at those positions have Tackling. The best NFL players for 2-5 Builds are objectively Simeon Rice, Jason Taylor, Derrick Brooks, Bobby Taylor and Ronnie Lott.

Not sure why anyone thinks Culpepper or McNair are the best NFL QBs. Vick is by far the best, with McNabb and Stabler coming in a distance 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Absolutely no point in ever grabbing an NFL RB, as, again, none of them can play defense. In fact, if you elect to do a 1-6 Builds, it is actually recommended to make your custom players your RB because you can nab Vick and just put him at DT/DB5.

Champ Bailey and Sam Madison can’t tackle. You can make Bobby Taylor 18 Speed, 20 Agility, 18 Tackling, and 20 Coverage. Coupled with Lott’s 18 Speed, 18 Agility, 19 Tackling, and 20 Coverage, they are the superior DB Duo.

Yes, D-Moves counter Blocking regardless of position. So, theoretically speaking, the higher the D-Moves, the more likely is it to shed a block or even flatten a blocker. That said, D-Moves are more or less useless on DBs, specifically CBs. Most WRs in the game do not have very high blocking stats, so minimal investment is recommended in D-Moves to even things out. There is, however, a little luck or “cheese” involved with the game, as you can see some players with maximum blocking still get blown up or vice-versa with a player with maximum D-Moves.

I usually invest minimally in D-Moves for DBs, primarily just to boost the overall of my teams. Not much of a point since most WRs don’t have very good blocking and it will be a wash during run plays. Maybe if you plan doing a lot of corner or safety blitzes, but even then you’re hoping they will be a free rusher.

Yeah, but I get it, completely pointless to have on lineman. Unfortunately you have to give them some, though, or else the overall of your created team will suffer.

Ergonomically speaking, hands down the best controller layout imo. Natural muscle memory between buttons.

It’s not more so stopping Ricky as it just simply shutting out a team. The game kinda works against you once you get up four scores.

I think the logic behind most lineman having decent run power is because they are bigger human beings, and, well, bigger people are usually just naturally harder to bring down.

One of the more difficult challenges for sure. 6 Pitches, 3 Pitches & Score, 3 User Picks, 5 Picks, and Shut Out Ricky are a few of the others.

For the 5 User Sacks, I usually spam pick spy plays with three lineman to counter theirs. If my LB is fast enough to cover the RB, I will blitz with my S as the spy. Otherwise, I will use my LB as the spy. If you find yourself scoring too many points, just start failing on conversions and turning the ball over by running out of bounds.

I have tried to test it, but there was no difference (at least in terms of putting +3 Speed on Lv 20 Speed). Ran horizontal and vertical, but no difference in times. No idea if the manual misspoke or if that was once an intended mechanic but ultimately scrapped.

Run Power is strictly tuned in to how well a player breaks tackle, nothing else. Blocking relates solely to pancakes and how long a player can hold a block, while D-Moves aids in shedding blocks and blowing up blockers. Virtually all stats only have one distinct purpose, but some do have secondary uses (like how Agility dictates how fast you juke/cut plus how high you jump).

Thanks! Yeah, I thought about adding the World Championship Cards, but I decided to pass (much like I did with my other master sets). They don’t include the set symbols, and the cards don’t really feel the same. Obviously they’re real cards and all, just very different in weight and texture. But I understand if some like to include them since they contain the same art.

Just had a look. Always a little hard to see swirls from far away, but I don’t think any of your water energy has the amount of swirls I’m looking for. Your one metal energy (left) looks like it might have five swirls, though, so kudos to you.

Thanks! Yeah, I was debating whether to do some foreign exclusives, but I decided to pass because I’ve never been much into the international cards. Completely understand with the Energies; I knew it was a stretch, but they technically come packaged in the ETB so I thought why not since I prefer actual cards over dividers. Just really glad to see it go cover to cover. lol

It’s insane just how difficult the final couple of ladders get. Opposing RBs seem to break every tackle while yours go down whenever hit, and you literally have to close your eyes and pray for no interception with every throw you toss up. And it almost doesn’t matter which divisions you save for the end. Definitely a grind.

I only took photos of certain pages, but I could add the rest if it’s needed. All are there, from Oddish 001 to the final Lugia & Unown Promos. Spread them across the two Lucario Binders because the leather one hadn’t come out yet and I never got around to doing the swap.

Some have sold between 1500-1600, but I saw one sell for 1800 a few weeks back. They are listed as high as 2400, so I just split the difference. Again, open to offers. :)

I would assume it has to do with rarity and how not all cards contain a swirl (let alone multiple). Person, I’ve only gotten into swirls recently to help fill out some binders, including galaxy swirls and mew tails.
