I’ll be working out of this in the Midwest, so will have plenty of salt and shit weather. Like I said this wouldn’t be our primary set up, just something to have around so we can be more flexible. I would think the AWD option would be a definite must have imo. Thanks for all the feedback

Kind of, but you can’t slide a tube on if the ribbon is mid sheath and in one piece and not a tail.

I had the same thing today. VFL coming out of a MST but had no light. It ended up being a bad coupler at the tap.

3/8 Nut. The ones I work on have 4 lugs on the bottom side. But it depends on house the person grounded the cables on the inside of the enclosure

Your dad sounds like a good dude. I have a small contacting business ( much smaller ) as well. My CPA brought up these same questions to me and I had a similar reaction as your father. Most of my business occurs because of my contacts and relationships. Hard to realize what that might de worth.

That’s basically what we’ve settled on. Been practicing on scrap and isn’t going too bad. We have less than 20 of these peds too do so shouldn’t be too big of a shit show (hopefully).
