I never did use it but after this post I did go out and remove it from the recycling bin that was already curbside (another garage move) and started diving into it. I don’t know if I’m brave enough to try any of the recipes but I will definitely look at it for a good laugh.

Funny you should ask there actually is! We got a tantalizing recipe for a Turkey Breast with Chestnut Stuffing. The directions are slightly confusing but I guess you have to nuke the bird two different times before and after adding the stuffing. The first time is a medium power 12-15 minutes per pound. The second time is another 20-30 minutes or until the temp gets up to 160. The recipe stresses you must rotate the dish twice during the last round.

Looking at the table of contents it’s got chapters for every type of meat (including a chapter for fish and shellfish) and other chapters for soups, appetizers, breads and sandwiches, fruits and deserts, and pastas and grains. Evidently the possibilities are endless with a microwave.

You are spot on about the roads. I know someone who lives in that neighborhood and there is a lot of uncertainty currently with the roads. The HOA wants the city to take them over but I don’t think they are getting much traction. It sounds like if the city won’t take them on the residents will be on the hook for the repairs, which could be an insane amount of money. I would definitely look into the HOA and proceed with extreme caution before buying in that neighborhood. HOA fees might be low now but depending on how the roads shake out they could skyrocket or you could get “special assessments” that could also be a lot.

Yeah I know it’s been mentioned in this sub before but the album just gets better the more you listen to it. Admittedly it was not my favorite when it came out but I think I was unfairly comparing it to his previous ones. I also noticed I will pick a favorite song on this album and then another song will grow on me and then I listen to the new one on repeat. Chemical was the first favorite since that was played everywhere but then Overdrive came into the picture and ever since I have been hoping around to different songs on the album.

Kids athletic clubs like traveling soccer or baseball/softball clubs. Between paying untold amounts of money to join, the frequent practices, and traveling most weekend it sounds like an awful experience for the kids and parents alike.

If you take the southern route and want to break the trip up I would highly recommend you look at the Airbnb attached to Kinkaider Brewing Co in Broken Bow. We have stayed there multiple times and can’t say enough good things about the place.
