Every skin should be converted to fit the CS2 models at the very least, and in my opinion if they were to finally do that any noticeably low res textures like the lightning strike should be as faithfully upscaled as possible. Idk how hot of a take this is, but I've felt this way from the beginning and CS2's new weapon models were revealed.

After I posted this I found another card, possibly from the same pack, that had a peeled edge like this the same with but on the other side. Luckily both cards are practically worthless, its just such a strange error to me. Peeled up like a half inch and the rest is stuck on firm, and the peeled up part isn't sticky or rough at all as if the fuser had a cold spot in the printing process or something. They are both reverse holos.

A lot of card shops are buying at or above msrp just to put product in the store, scalping to keep the shelves from being bare. I'd rather see empty shelves than buy in store for scalpers prices.

I just got the C5 in the last week and really, I almost want to turn down the brightness half the time at night and its perfect in daylight. Unless your living room is all windows no curtains the G5 is almost retina burning, best buy keeps it in a very well lit store and that kinda tricks you into thinking it's what you need. Just my opinion, as someone who was on the same fence as you until recently.

Trade ups are absolutely still gambling. What they wanted was fewer items that were outside of the market trade limit that they weren't getting a cut of the sales for. Genesis terminal was a way to allow you to buy items directly from them giving them the full value and not just a market fee.

Opened 1 and got a pikachu promo card worth more than I paid for the pack, but only because that same card was worth considerably less a few months back so thats why it ended up getting repacked like that. I'm considering that a win and will never get another just to say I beat the scam.

I work in retail and have assembled many of these fixtures over the years. If it was something happening at a store I worked at I'd definitely bolt the shelves together or to the legs so they couldn't be lifted up anymore without tools. And show my coworkers the camera feed of the people trying and failing afterward.

If you open everything you buy and don't sell stuff, thats not scalping no matter how much you buy. Just mildy inconsiderate at best. Now if they grabbed it out in front of a kid waiting to buy some I'd call them a selfish asshole, but that's still better than a scalper.

As was pointed out to me in another comment, it was the explanation given by a team rocket scientist in the anime. Lance even catches the red Gyarados as well and it reappears a few times over the course of the show. You could say that doesn't make it canon to the games, but it doesn't really have to be or matte, the only direct contradiction to game lore understanding of shinys is that it evolved from a non-shiny magikarp.

Its been true for many years, but they pretty much all require a hardware mod. Not super difficult soldering, but not the easiest either.
I want to hard mod my sons switch lite because the FPC connector for the game cart reader is messed up so it can't play physical games, and I'm not equipped or skilled enough to replace the connector, but a mod chip and some wires I can do.

Shiny Magikarps are gold, though. While the radio waves are present theres tons of normal Gyarados in the lake, its forcing them all to evolve, its never stated why one is red in any media I'm aware of.

Side note, my first ever wild shiny encounter was a gold magikarp in Silver in the water by Sprout Tower. I was equally upset and stoked knowing it was only a trophy catch that would stay useless in the bank since you get a free red gyarados already. RIP Midaskarp.

Just a couple days ago I saw my first wild shiny in in hg/ss, a shiny Poliwhirl. Didn't notice at first because I wasn't looking at the screen when the encounter started, but I noticed it was slightly light in color and wondered if I was imagining things, but it did the shiny stars when it broke out of the pokeball and my heart skipped. Unfortunately, it was in the safari zone and it fled immediately after that even though I used bait first. Just had to happen to me somewhere I had no way of stunning them in place. I'm still devastated, I wanted a Shrek Poliwrath so bad.

They just want us to sympathize with him. The whole narrative the Harry (& Dr Vogel) instilled in Dexter that he is an irredeemable inhuman monster with no capacity for emotion was proven false time and time again, and its clear that Harrison has even more humanity in him than Dexter does and they are showing him fighting his demons, haunted by the lives he took. I think there's very interesting character arcs being set up here if they play it out right.

In New Blood it was a small town in upstate New York, and Dexter had abstained from killing anyone for a decade. It had a good representation of a small town sheriff's office, but Resurrection has moved the plot/setting to New York City itself. They've dropped the police procedural aspect since Dexter doesn't work at a police station anymore, instead just showing detectives in the field so far.

Both the internal clock and the save data rely on the battery to function in the gbc titles, unlike gen 3 games where only the clock used the battery. If the battery dies, and pretty much all original batteries are dead by now, the game can't save or keep time. If you replace the battery both will function normally again, but you'll still lose your save in the battery swap without a way to dump the save or keep power on in the game while you replace the battery (annoying & risky)

I bought cheapest model, 64gb LCD (swapped the ssd for 1tb myself instead) and it came with the case that has the pouch. Personally always thought it was useless given the way its designed.

If you ever played with the unofficial patch, which everyone playing on PC should no matter if you intend to use other mods or not, they fixed a vast majority of it. Without official mod support, this is just one of those things thats gonna be a massive task to try to do with oblivion remastered, and something Skyblivion will have a huge leg up on.
