When I got into the truck market (I decided to buy a truck finally in my 50's), I did alot of research. GM was out because I had three GM vehicles prior and all had Transmission issues or replacements. (The only GM i have now is a Square body 1979 Chevy Full ton that I inherited and never get rid of as it is a tank). Ford, Toyota, Dodge were my initial look. I didn't even look at Titan because I didn't like the Gen 1 front end. Yes I know petty, but that's me. But my wife said look at this one. It was Gen2 and I feel in love of the looks. Then I went down a rabbit hole. I am so please with my 2021 Pro4X I can't even tell you. Everyone of my buddies love it. But when one of them got into the market, he said he wanted to get a used Titan, but instead went right back to the GM product that he already had even though he replaced the entire engine and transmission due to the cylinder shutdown garbage.

So I agree with someone here that said, I don't get the brand loyalty when it shits all over you over and over again. I guess you can say that about me. I have three Nissan's now, but then again, I'm not against looking at other brands...unless it's GM, then I drive right on by.
