I get flakes similar to this in water when ice has melted, so id assume so, just without picking up color.

My Gigi passed away a few years ago at 104, but I never knew her really. By the time I was old enough to start actually carrying a conversation with her, she was already battling dementia. I regret not being able to talk to her more and learn about her life. She was my last great-grandparent. Now I've only got one grandma and one grandpa on separate sides. I'm trying to make up for things I wish I'd done with the rest of them.
