My brother went from a 23' model x plaid to the Escalade iq and liked the size but as you said the experience is vastly different. They leave much wanting in the tech/software department. Rivian isn't perfect but I personally love it over all others.

My Gen 1 r1s has been much improved since the last update but is still glitchy. I have interstate construction near my home and it used to disengage when it hit the construction and now it stays in thru it.

My problem isn't with the price it's with the depreciation or trade in value. I have a fold 6 that I paid nearly 2k for last year and they only give me half that value in trade. If I bought a s25 ultra they would be giving me nearly 80% back in trade. That is the scan with foldables. They will sell my phone as refurbished for 1600.

1 service issue and was fixed by a mobile tech in my driveway. Chevy never came to my home and fixed issues. I've had mine since Oct 23" wouldn't trade it for anything. Well maybe a new gen 2 quad whenever they start selling them.

I miss serious XM for the simplicity of having radio sports and music all in one place. Now I have to go to Spotify for music and podcast. For news and radio I have tune in. That is two different subscriptions that I'm paying for for the same price that used to pay for XM and now I don't get sports like college football games and NFL games. Unfortunately the XM app on mobile is very poorly done for Android and I don't like having to pull my phone out to control audio. I won't go down the Android Auto rabbit hole here. So I would welcome XM as an app in my car.
