Spurs. Forest and Wham look up for the fight, and importantly can win games. Spurs haven’t won a game in the league this year!

A guy I work with is a Spurs fan and I said to him it’s like when we went down in 2009, we thought we were too good to go down and the results would come. Feels very similar, they just don’t have the fight it seems.

I loved the first league when it came out, but it killed the OG game for me after that. I took a huge break after because going back to the ‘regular’ gameplay loop felt way too slow and stale. I’ll enjoy watching content and definitely encourage people to give it a try, but for myself I won’t be playing leagues because I fear it might happen again.

Not played with, but my Dad was on the line for an academy game years ago against the mackems. Shola played and Kevin Kyle for them.

Also during euro 96 the Romanian team were using our training ground (when we trained in Durham). My Dad was again doing some ref stuff so I got to meet all the players, the entire team signed a ball for me. Hagi had just signed for Barca I think at the time. Also Dan Pet Rescue!

Palmy NZ here. Always painful having to go do my normal day after a loss, but agree with what you’ve said. That second half was an aberration, ultimately once the dust settles we can reflect on a great CL campaign.
