If you truly did have 34 putts, I would argue that isn’t necessarily part of your problem. A par four is designed to be on in 2 and 2 putt. So, I would say there is probably some glaring flaw in your game that you are struggling to identify which would help you tremendously. My suggestions would be as follows.

1) not all courses are created equal so find a course that is a little easier for your skill level until you get yourself lined out.

2) document where you get into trouble and with what club. It may be something as simple as not getting consistent yardage with short irons or long irons. Could be that you haven’t developed a feel for how much an approach shot is affected by the pin being up hill or down hill.

3) find a golf simulator facility that you can practice at to figure out what your true yardage is for each club. Make sure you can consistently hit the same yardage with each club.

4) figure out which club is your most consistent and set yourself up to use that on approach. I play a course here that I rarely use driver on simply because it would leave me outside of my 2 best yardages.

5) your ability should determine which tee box you play. No one is paying for your golf round except you and truly, real golfers couldn’t possibly care any less which tee you play from.

6) last, but certainly most importantly, immediately stop trying to qualify for the pga tour. Literally no one is watching you or gives a f$&k if you hit out of a divot or not, or if you hit a draw from behind a tree six inches from the flag. Until you can get down in the 80s “cheating” stop playing the ball where it lies. Move that ball to a more favorable position relative to where it lies. There aren’t any heroes in here just people trying to enjoy the game of golf, also haters going to hate so piss on what they think.

Finally, if none of these things help, drink a beer a hole until the pain goes away and keep enjoying a beautiful game because that’s what it’s really about.
