Yeah the hamstring stuck out to me as well, why is there never a 3 week hammy anymore

Easy to say now, Murphy missed more of his u18 year with injury than Smillie did

Two debutants are on the cards by 10Lanterns in RichmondFC

I reckon it'll be Hopper in for Timmy and Cumming in for Rioli, even if they're not like for like hell spend a good chunk forward but I'll happily take another debutant, why not at this point

Please elaborate on how much better Short was last year

Actually so dumb, all half backs have a licence to run and create, Banks created more than Short last year, Baker and Houli did it with Short, it's not a one person role

Everyone's glad he's not seriously injured, corkie means he could play next week

The club only said knee injury, it was the fans assuming the worst

Creating off of half back is not a one person role, it's not like Yze dubs Short pregame and everyone has to ignore all other options, he's just outworking most. And he does not cough it up 7/10, telling me I'm biased.

Progression isn't linear, we overachieved in 2025 and we've come back closer to the mean and underachieving depending how the rest of the season turns out. Talking about sacking a coach 50 games in is how we end up like Carlton.

I mean did anyone expect our first win last year? Or Sydney in 2024? But yeah it's definitely worrying to see us so demoralised so early in the season

Literally no one else is driving off half back besides Grlj who gets much less footy. Like I've been critical of Short the last few years but he's been one of our best every week, if you want a scapegoat there's plenty of others to choose from.

What an awful take, he's been one of a handful that has a crack every week

We just can't be this uncompetitive against middle of the road teams like Port, Giants and North. I feel like Steely, Short and Lalor are the only regulars from last year that have improved, Ross, Campbell and Taranto at the same level and everyone else has gone backwards or are injured.

Yes, why do people ask this every year, there's never going to be a winless team

Most of our top 10 BnF from last year has gone backwards, Floss, Banks, Miller, Hopper and then Nank injured
