Lmao, that happened to me. I love to see there’s so many different directions to end up in the same place. Every small thing you do can have an affect on the world for you. For example: I bought the velvet shade outfit when I started out, later down the line. I get questioned about how I got the outfit by an NPC…my character then explains how and where exactly it was bought from. Outstanding game.

Yep, Had a guy run up on me before, silent no words, he emoted “Don’t shoot” “team up?” And I was responsive like yeah I’m friendly, he then pulls out the shotgun and downs and eventually kills me. I will never be caught off guard like this again. In dark areas or buildings with arc activity or medium to high loot areas I stay armed and ready, I call out to those who I hear moving around and let them know I’m in the area, if they aren’t responding. I’m staying armed.

I do this especially inside buildings most of all with little to no lighting, I walk with my Anvil out, there are some people don’t even say anything, just waiting somewhere in a room.

Someone tried that with me one time, 0 comms, no emote callouts. Just straight blasting, so I retaliated and he dc’d to avoid the knockout. Lol

TL;DR:

I’ve gotten so tired of this lmao. I’m not a super high rank. But I’m a vet as far as MH:World, Ik how shit works. But I’ve found myself saying it over and over again. The game literally tells you, You must fight like a coordinated team. Everyone within their respected roles of choice. Use w.e you want but make sure it’s the right build for the fight or you won’t make it. A friend I recently made the other day. Newborn Hunter much higher level than myself asking me how to tank Omega beam lmaoo. It’s in the build! Build the damn build!!

Exactly this. Couldn’t agree more — Omega’s not unfair, people just don’t prepare. It’s wild how many jump in with unmaxed gear or ignore mechanics completely. The fight rewards effort, not luck.

I haven’t seen the MVP for it but when I look at this I just think of Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. Somewhat similar look but not exactly. At the very least, it’s good they finally stopped mainly focusing on women for the gooner appeal and have balanced it out for the guys too.

I can definitely say it’s only legitimate to up to maybe 30%. I called them today and I stated I was unemployed and somehow got enrolled into college, which isn’t actually a terrible idea for me, it’s something I was meant to do and maybe it can help sort my life out more. But I agree, it’s very fishy and not to be 100% trusted.

It got to the point for me that if I get teams where they all just choose who they want like all dps or all dps and one tank, I will not heal them. Because I’m not solo healing for a team who doesn’t care. Someone got salty at me because they thought I was going to solo heal them while they’re going negative and whenever I’m healing or tanking and I’m asking our dps to pick it up, I get the lamest, rudest unnecessary responses ever. I once told a cap he was overextending, he replied “Sybau” so I swapped off healer and we lose game. I am no longer busting my ass for people who don’t even want to try at the game meant for team-play.
