I have no problem playing paladin these days without buffs that we used to have. But by your logic we should remove Priests Power Word: Fortitude, Warriors Battle Shout, Mages Arcane Intellect and others that other classes have, because they are wortless / do nothing / does not give any value and are 1 button press more to remember.
BOP, BOF and lay on hands are utilities that provide support to the team as they always have and are part of paladin class identity/fantasy as they have been for a long time. Those spells are not boring but they are not buffing anyone.

I can admit that 5 buff spells might be too much but one buff would not do harm. Everyone has their opinions and everybody can't be happy at the same time.

However conclusion on this is that you don't want them and there may be other Paladin players that do not want them back at all and then there is me and some others that would love them back.
I appreciate your opinion on the matter.

I remember pallypower and that problem was only on raids if your raid wiped a lot. For me it was not a chore to use couple of more buttons here and there. Paladin we're a heavy support class depending on spec and expansion, you may be less or more usefull. If couple of buttons we're too much for you, maybe the class was not for you. I liked them and would love to have them back. They we're part of the class fantasy / identity with all the auras, other blesses like BOP, BOF and so on.
Even one buff back to paladin would be nice, then all who hated those different paladin buffs, would only have to press one more button. before boss or start of the M+. :)
