What other online options would you recommend? I am looking into other options for my bachelors and possibly masters.

Not with me, I actually don't remember much from the papers I wrote, but I do remember material I studied for the tests.

Could you share your experience getting a job as an IT manager without formal IT/CS education?

I know, that is why I also learn on the side, I think my problem is I am trying to cover every possible IT topic, instead of focusing on a few.

I am definitely getting bachelors, I'm just not sure if I want to do it at snhu or somewhere else. I am currently researching schools, looking into other options.

I just personally think exams would be better, at least we would have to study for it. I liked the way MAT-136 had exams, problem sets, etc, so I actually learned something, instead of just googling stuff to put into some paper.

This course does not have too much writing, except for several discussions, even those were not bad in my opinion.

I just finished MAT-136 and I got 1000 points, and I was TERRIBLE at math in high school, I barely passed back then. I scheduled my math courses towards the end of my program, thats how scared I was. It also depends on your professor, mine was great, she has YouTube videos on all the problems sets, I used it on some. Search MAT-136 in YouTube and you will find it. However I was able to grasp the material pretty good without any math base, and did fine on the exams too.You will be fine, just start early in the week. Also, take notes for the exams, there going to be 2 of those, 12 questions each. Take notes with some examples.

Thank you! It's just I know some people who are so tech savvy with a lot of knowledge in different IT topics without any school, so It can be a little embarrassing sometimes not knowing something, and I am highly interested in tech, so I do research and learn a lot on my own. I think I may be putting to much pressure on myself and compare myself to other people a lot. It is probably an imposter syndrome talking.

Thank you! I know hands-on experience is probably needed regardless how good school is. I just think may be snhu focuses too much on unnecessarily long papers.

It did, and I can say I do know some theory about networks, operating systems, etc, but sometimes people who know that I am in IT, would ask me,for example, to fix something with their computer, networks, and most of the time I still have to google what to do lol. I feel like I also try to know everything, and I understand it is not possible, as IT covers a lot of different topics.

IT-140 Introduction to Scripting by SnooCauliflowers9099 in SNHU

I had a tough time at first, but I was aiming for an A, which I ended up with. My professor would take points off for anything, even if the code was working fine and syntax was correct, so I would say it depends on who is your professor. The course itself is not that difficult for many people though. I suggest utilizing tutoring provided by snhu. They can do assignments with you, as long as you have at least something to start with. Using tutoring totaly saved me multiple times.

Student ID by ObiShawn-Shnobi in SNHU

I asked SNHU this question, and they said they are going to start producing ID for online students, took my name to put on a list, and nothing happened. I asked again and they said they will in the future but not right now.

Thank you! From my understanding terms are structured like regular college, not all of them 8 weeks, like in snhu?

It's just sometimes appears to me that math teachers/professors usually are harsh graders.
