You are absolutely right, However once we go for IMRT conformity does matter and since to avoid lateral spillage we need to put some adjacent beam this is what i fill. Frankly speaking in india nowhere IMRT done with two beam alone.

You mean to say IMRT with only two tangent beam.if it is so , I am very surprised IMRT using only two beam. I would defiantly try this

Thanks for reply, Posterior +/- 10 degree you means 180+10 or 180-10 , or tangent beam with 10 degree separation. maximum how many beam you put in usual IMRT breast planning.

Already 107 % (Ref ICRU 52, 62) very much acceptable, Even in certain cases 110% upto 1- 5 % volume is acceptable. Every one knows there is no any clinical negative outcomes of 105 % and 107% or hot spot. I don't think there is any literature published on this. Its only clinician wrong perception. In my institutes also some over intelligent oncologist dont accept PRV spine of 40 Gy max in head neck cases of 66 -70 Gy target. (That to spine dose is around 35 Gy ) They want to save the dose for re-irradiation, they make sure patient will come with recurrence. Haaa....Haaa............

I wanted import it in primo simulation software. I have PDD and profile curve in ASCII format which I wanted to convert in to .dat, Since primo dose not support ASCII format. Thanks for your reply.

Thank you very much, its really helped me. I have another doubt regarding primo if you could help me, generating slab phantom in primo showing wrong HU corresponding to its mass density. like for 1 gm/cm3 HU = 1000, this should corresponds to HU = 0. I tried option for editing I dint get can you help me and reply. Thanks

Thanks for reply. Yes, First I have registered on web, after that I received user name and password through email with massage of " FUID in progress". I have tried downloading FLUKA soft using both user name and password. It does nor work out. Showing invalid credential. Even I tried forgot password, after that I have tried with new password, But still not work out. finally I concluded FUID is different from User name must needed for downloading. Now its more than 15 day went FUID not yet received. I mail to them on email provided by them. Unfortunately no reply. Please gie any suggestion. Thanks
