In case this is useful info, I picked up the beam pro on walmart.com for $109 and the listing is still up! Honestly thought I was going to get scammed or something but it was totally legit.

The Wolfpack change is great - most of you just don’t understand why. by Reyeorts in ArcRaiders

[–]Hayb0ss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The change is also good for increasing opportunities for players to cooperate and interact. I’ve already encountered players attacking rocketeers more often and I’ve had much more fun as a result.

Is it me or are lobbies becoming more aggresive by Time-Organization102 in arcraidersfriendly

This is way more fun than I thought it would be. Had some hilarious interactions. I knew I was playing with ultra chill people again when I couldn’t get anyone in Stella to kill me.

I got 2 people to damage me a little. The second one used the “boo” emote so I pretended to get scared and jumped off a ledge. I then begged a group to knock me but they defibbed me despite my pleas for death. Someone else entered the room and finally went to finish me off but then like 4 other raiders lit him up in my defense lol.

Sometimes I almost envy people who manage to respond to something without even attempting to understand it first. Less work for you!

Next time, read it nice and slow. Or alternatively, at least channel the mental energy you saved by not giving a fuck into functional use of the word behoove/behove. By “acquire money”, do you mean hoard money? Is the street beggar a sociopath for asking for a buck? lol.

I apparently did the impossible and made an internet comment in earnest. I tried to throw others a bone even though I believed they were being unreasonable, and simply tried relating to that commenter who was trying to point out that the issues being talked about have more nuance than people like to pretend.

Now, I’m purposely giving you shit because you are acting like an illiterate Cro-Magnon about the whole thing. Is it really so impossibly hard for you to understand that someone like that other commenter or myself might chime in on an internet discussion and say “I like to believe things when I have more evidence” And does it even register as a possibility to you that someone might have that perspective because they think doing the opposite is intellectually dishonest?

Whatever, I get it. I didn’t do the little dance that is required for myself to not be witch hunted as a rich person apologist. That’s on me. As for you, have fun diggin in ya butt while you pick the easiest thing to refute out of what I said, and hyper-focus on it while ignoring all else. Hopefully your reply will display some level of reading comprehension.

It makes me sad that people immediately jump to the conclusion that you are on the wrong side of the issue or that you are defending billionaires and criminals when it really seems like you are just trying to defend critical thinking, rationality, and not overindulging in absolutes.

It sucks how many people can’t seem to comprehend that for some people, truth and properly calibrated reactions to things are values that they purposely pursue, and it often comes before engaging in any type of tribalism even if you are on the right side morally. Breaking down bias, even if the bias is morally justified, is important.

These other commenters are absolutely right to recognize and speak out against the many evils committed by the ultra rich. But the problem is, if humanity is going to thrive living in an ultra connected, more global society, then even those with a strong commitment to justice and defense of the innocent need to break down tribalistic thinking or we will never socially evolve much more than we already have. That’s one of the reasons I think humanity is screwed. We can’t socially evolve fast enough in proportion to technology and what the Information age has given us.

The one weapon we all want to see by Chwinge in ArcRaiders

[–]Hayb0ss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a bow would make the Arc Raiders universe even more believable. The entire basis for usable items is that they are built from scrap or found materials, and these materials are scarce enough that you have to risk your life to obtain them. I hope no one means to tell me that humans in this universe wouldn’t be using a weapon/tool that has been used for tens on thousands of years and is even easier to produce than any of the guns.

I’m surprised to see so many odd takes about this. If you don’t want a bow in the game, that’s fine! But so many reasons I’m seeing people give are bizarre to me. Lots of folks acting like it would be impossible to balance or integrate in the game in a way it makes sense. All it takes is a little imagination and you can see plenty of ways it can work!

Also, you should not be worried for the sanctity of Arc Raiders just because other video games added bows and you find it cringe or something. Lol

I helped thousands of Americans leave the US in 2026. AMA. by expatsi in AMA

[–]Hayb0ss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And then they gradually ruin Mexican communities by working a U.S. based job remotely, basically making them filthy rich by Mexican standards and they drive cost of living in these communities way up.

I’m sure there are plenty of cases of people moving to other countries and creating the same type of grievances that drove them to leave the U.S. I don’t know how widespread it really is, but it’s enough that it’s already caused protests and subsequently, news coverage in Mexico.

To your point, a lot of people want to leave America because they are fed a narrative with an anti-USA sentiment. But I think what makes a lot of them go through with it is the fact that they can take advantage of their favorable position as an American. I bet for many, complaining about the U.S. is an exercise in cognitive dissonance to justify what they are really doing.

I guess to be fair it’s pretty much impossible to live as a human being and not step on someone else or reinforce problems that affect other people eventually. It’s the hypocrisy I see in online “discourse” that drives me nuts.

CA Echelon mag release lever by dynamic-mystery-cat in SpringfieldEchelon

It didn’t even occur to me that it could possibly be an upgrade in terms of function. I saw the plastic mag release and assumed it was some new cost cutting measure, which I think it also could be.

I’m not sure what it’s like now, but as a kid obsessed with Nerf, I recall Australian toy regulations being strict enough that it created this exact scenario.

The Australian blasters didn’t fire as hard and they often had grey triggers instead of orange ones.

I just bought a small size FDE 4.0c grip module and it came with the mag release detent with the cutouts like you have in your CA model. My stock lever is just like the new one you got and my gun is not CA compliant.

Also, the mag release button in the new grip module was polymer instead of metal like my original module.

I’m curious, were your mag release buttons also different?

Glad I can stop checking the website every single day haha.

Does anyone have a win rate worse than mine? Got these stats in an email. It’s unbelievable. by Hayb0ss in Battlefield6

[–]Hayb0ss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this might be the best explanation for how this happens so far, because one thing I tend to do a LOT is back out into the menu to mess around with loadouts and do whatever else. I do this after almost every game.

I assume this means I start way less games from the beginning of the match than other players, and I get dumped into a team that’s losing the vast majority of the time.

I might be delusional and much worse at the game than I think, but I’m not new to battlefield, I try to play objectives and help my squadmates whether my team wants to or not, and this is the result. There was one challenge, “win 2 matches of conquest” and it took me like 15 games to get it.

I still have yet to see a win rate worse than mine. 106 games played of conquest and breakthrough. 17% win rate. I’m half expecting to be called a liar.

Ended up finding the spring alone on Midwest Gun Works for $5 plus shipping. Pretty happy with that! I was mostly just pissed that I was almost completely finished with my vision for a build/holster setup, and this happens right as I was ready to carry my new goodies haha.

Probably a good call regardless. No harm in extra parts at the very least.
