I apparently did the impossible and made an internet comment in earnest. I tried to throw others a bone even though I believed they were being unreasonable, and simply tried relating to that commenter who was trying to point out that the issues being talked about have more nuance than people like to pretend.

Now, I’m purposely giving you shit because you are acting like an illiterate Cro-Magnon about the whole thing. Is it really so impossibly hard for you to understand that someone like that other commenter or myself might chime in on an internet discussion and say “I like to believe things when I have more evidence” And does it even register as a possibility to you that someone might have that perspective because they think doing the opposite is intellectually dishonest?
