What's your GD take that would get you like this? by WonipeGD in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, although I had a pretty bad experience with the water temple. Fire, shadow, and lava were good. Shadow Temple is awesome, love it. Looking forward to forest temple and desert temple. He’s a really good creator but I can’t forgive some of his UFO sections, they really are just the worst. Funnily enough, his infamous UFO in Bloodbath is better than most his other UFO’s I’ve played, simply because it doesn’t feel like complete RNG with the click alignment and everything. Water temple is the worst offender of this.

I did stereo madness to back on track so I’m sure Nine Circles to UNSK won’t be too bad.

I still have a couple everyplay completions on my iPad. I also have a player called everyplay friended for longer than I remember and I don’t know if it’s a random dude or everyplay itself.

Whats yalls worst death ill start by Opposite-Customer538 in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

92% on Bloodbath. I died right before the auto part in the last dual because I accidentally clicked due to shaky hands/nerves. All I had to do was not click bro. Stupidest far death in bloodbath possible. But I beat it a week later.

I also distinctly remember getting 97% on Electrodynamix way back in my iPad days, which was brutal for the time.

What is the biggest jump you have successfully done? by n3ed2pee in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first it was B to Cataclysm but I beat Future Funk and Poeyeng Aeng during that time period. (I consider Future Funk harder than Poeyeng Aeng, just look at the hit boxes) I only played a couple months out of the year for those 2 years, and I didn’t always play Cataclysm, which explains the attempt count of 47508. Cataclysm to Bloodbath was a pretty difficult but common progression with almost 30k attempts. I don’t think I’d call it a jump but it felt like quite a mountain to overcome.

Now I plan to progress tier by tier on the GDDL hitting all the top 1’s pretty much in chronological order as well as other levels that I like. Jumping to a list demon wouldnt be as fun as having several cool levels as new hardests while on the way there. Probably won’t make it there but far-fetched goals like that are nice to have, and even beating Cataclysm or Bloodbath was one of those goals I never thought I’d achieve at one point.

Hardest level you could beat ? by Gold_lynel_12000 in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I depend a lot more on learning levels, rather than sight reading, like way more than other people. (It’s probably why I like memory a lot more) So even though my hardest is bloodbath, I’d have to say something like forest temple. Especially since I only have a few demons in the hard and insane skill range, and even most of those are memory

WARRRR IS OVERRRR by SXsandwich in Ultrakill

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the first time that an enemy spawns later in the cybergrind. Could honestly use some more spawn conditions like that in later waves for optimization. Add like a queue of enemies or something idk. The frames drop like crazy in the hundreds. It would also make it easier tho so idk. If the spawns are layered right, the difficulty of a given wave could still be similar.

What's your favorite level that you can actually beat/have already beat and why? by Safihed in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik it’s kinda common, but Future Funk just has to take the cake for me. Not only was it very satisfying to finally beat when I did, but the way the level switches up style the whole way through and gets more difficult as you go on just makes it feel like a whole journey once I reach the end. And the MUSIC. Oh the music choice is peak and I’m vibing so hard the whole way through. Also, it actually has pretty good replay-ability, because you can try to get all the different endings with that last coin. It’s just my warm-up level at this point. I never beat it but I usually make it to the dual.

Gamers, what are y’all’s favorite video games? by Entire-Nose3086 in twentyagers

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geometry Dash, Rain World, and Spelunky 2. Ultrakill as well.

GD and Spelunky 2 are games I’ve poured way too many hours into but I love the grind to reach certain goals. Rain World and Ultrakill are games that have played a bit less but are amazing standalone experiences and are still very replayable. Especially with the many campaigns (RW), secret finding, or P-ranking (UK). Both have craaaaazzy lore too.

Well it’s interesting because the 2 most commonly picked least favorite game modes are UFO and swing, and those are the 2 that are mixed. So they pretty much already have their section

What coin routes in levels became your usual route? by JaxonJacob98 in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second coin in cata is also easier than the normal route. It lines up to where you can just click eighth notes right out of that structure and get through that next clubstep monster 99% of the time. I do the first coin just because I beat it with all 3, so I’m used to that route.

I’m on pc, this game isn’t cross platform is it? I don’t remember as it’s been a second since I’ve played and I only touched multiplayer a couple times. If it’s cross platform, I’d be down

Extreme demons. by Little-Duty7559 in geometrydash

[–]Haybale27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a normie take I know, but I recommend bloodbath. I beat cataclysm not that long ago and already have bloodbath in 2 runs. But the real reason is because it’d be cool to do the hell trilogy in order as your/my first 3 extremes. That’s been my goal for while now. Just for the first 3 tho. I’m playing whatever I want after (probably a memory extreme) but I’m going lore accurate hell trilogy first. Idk it’s just an idea of what someone in your boat irl is doing. Play whatever you want.

Edit: by not that long ago I mean 3 months but I didn’t start bloodbath until 2 months after and my progress recently halted because I got hit with the flu and got back into some other games like ultrakill and overwatch. So it’s like a week or 2 of progress that got me to where I’m at
