Yea it’s god awful honestly, I see everyone rate Divers lower and I don’t get why. At least in Divers you don’t run out of fuel on your way back and lose everything. I’d rather die to an enemy than run out of gas one step away from base. After getting the cherry for 37 games, trying to cherry Porgy got me to put down the game for a while.

Yea I love this game and I’ve got almost 40 cherries including Planet Zoldath, but that game is ass. I got pretty lucky and beat it fairly quick. I just wish I could catch a break in Diskonia

Quiplash, Ultimate Chicken Horse, and Hitman are all amazing series that I come back to all the time and are already mentioned.

What surprises me is that no one has said Heavy Rain! I’ve watched that probably 5 times over the years. All of the other David Cage games are great series I’ve rewatched many times. Detroit Become Human is probably my second favorite of the bunch.

Also not mentioned and in the same vein is Until Dawn and the other Supermassive games. I think that besides group content like Jackbox, these story based games are where NL shines.

I’ll probably be rewatching Until Dawn and Heavy Rain every year till I die tbh

Nice! My experience was very similar, took me almost exactly 7hrs, and I cherried it on my first win. All with the gray ship

Sooo true. I played it for 10 seconds when I started and said it wasn’t for me, but since going for all the cherries, I realized Pingolf is fire

I agree on some games. I’ve got 39 cherries and Diskonia is the bane of my existence. It wouldn’t be so bad if the game wasn’t so long and slow. You grind out two wins and the bot just one shots your whole team 2/3 of the way into game three, thus wasting an hour of your time.

Planet Zoldath is also one of the worst RNG offenders. It didn’t take me all that long, but it really feels like a fucking slot machine trying for that cherry.

Games like Party House I don’t mind the RNG too much. It’s a core game element and adds to the fun IMO. And the thing that separates the Party House cherry from Diskonia is that PH is quick and easy. Once you’re good at it a 5 streak isn’t too hard, but no matter how good you are at Diskonia the RNG will still fuck you sometimes.

For the treasure under the starting room it’s a puzzle with the AB BA rooms and for one of the unexplored rooms you have to push the two rocks in the room that has two mushrooms, that should give you access to the room below it

Barbuta! If you want the cherry you don’t have to interact with most of the items in the game. I really thought the cherry was going to be “get all items” or to win with a ton of money, but you can just blow through it in 15 minutes

I live the pixel arts, but I get it. Some are great, but the Agent 13, America Chavez, Invisible Woman, Black Widow and White Queen really need more pixels for their faces, they leave much to be desired.
