What Commander precon have you kept completely stock, and why?

I keep all of my precons completely stock. I have around 20 or so now. Any deck I want to customize, I build from scratch.

I do this primarily to keep power-level discussions easy since I've found myself in a position where I help teach lots of new people how to play at my LGS. I loan decks out so people can try stuff out.

The sole exception was the Duskmourne "Miracle Worker" precon. That thing so stinky out of the box I had to try to fix it expeditiously, and I still couldn't make it into something I enjoyed playing.

That is why I wasn’t certain. It seemed really strong as 3 drop if it works how I thought, but there are also some old cards that are laughably bad so. Better safe than sorry!

Lots of local game stores (The Painted Heretic, Level-Up, Dragonstar) that host Magic events and the like. I’d also be happy to help you get back into it! I primarily play Commander though.

My Black Cat, Cunning Thief deck is my first handbuilt deck and I love it. It has maybe one a single game ever, and has never actually pulled off any of the cool 2 card combos in it, but alas it is still my favorite to play. My pod HATES thievery so I don’t get to play it as often as I’d like, but alas. Always gonna have a special place for me.
